Jesper and you had been best friends ever since you had joined the Dregs. You just clicked instantly, and your laughter and silly jokes had annoyed the heck out of others for years now.
At the club nobody would have guessed it judging by being noisy and rowdy, but sometimes you sat in your room in silence, Jesper was polishing his guns or trying out new flip tricks as you read a book. Rain was pouring down the sky, creating a peaceful ambience between you two. A few words were exchanged every once in a while, an occasional laugh or joke, but after long days or succesful heists, you liked to spend time like this.
"How you were as a child?" you suddenly asked as you turned to the next page. "You've never told me."
"Me as a kid?" Jesper grinned. "Charming."
"How surprising. Any fun memories to share?"
Jesper thought for a moment. "Well, it isn't funny, but at school my classmates found out that I'm extremely ticklish, one of my only flaws, and used it against me. They ripped my first jacket in the process," he told you and your eyes shot at him immediately.
"You're ticklish?" you gasped and Jesper immediately tensed up, realizing his huge mistake.
"No! Well, yes, but I-" he tried to explain but it was too late for that.
"I didn't know you're ticklish... this is going to be fun." you grinned and soon Jesper and you were on the floor, him trying to wrestle you off as you had straddled him and tickled him everywhere you could reach. He roared in laughter as he tried to push you off and couldn't get any words out. You just laughed with him until you decided that he had suffered enough and stopped tickling and Jesper finally pushed you off.
"You're lucky my coat wasn't ruined." he grumbled as he sat up, looking away but you knew he played around and could hear his smirk.
You rolled your eyes. "Oh don't be such a diva, I know you liked it."
Jesper turned to look at you, grinning widely. "You're also lucky that you're my best friend."
You snorted. "Yeah, it's a jackpot."
He grinned, standing up from the floor and pulling you with him. "I know you think so, love. Don't deny it."
You rolled your eyes again and let out an amused huff. "In other news, I'm hungry."
"Me too. You'll pay."
"What? Why?"
He raised his eyebrows, as if the reason was obvious. "For making me suffer."
You snorted. "In your dreams, Fahey."
