Work Text:
The Meno-Z serum is a specialized serum that was created back in 2021 in Redwood Labs. Its sole purpose was to give people, children especially, lower levels of lust & sexual desires, while also granting them infinite strength & heightened speed. However, there were a couple accidents in creating the serum, which just made children's levels of lust go STRAIGHT down to 0% permanently. Not only that, but due to more accidents, it also now granted a slightly taller height, made people be forced onto the moral spectrum of either Lawful, Neutral, or Chaotic Good, making them stay stuck at the age they're at forever, as in physically, emotionally, biologically, spiritually, and even chronologically, and for girls & women, giving them a bigger, spherical chest size (volleyball-sized-and-shaped for 14-year-old girls, basketball-sized-and-shaped for 15-year-old girls, and medium-sized beach ball-sized-and-shaped for women.), alongside the aforementioned and intended infinite strength and heightened speed instead of just bigger chest muscles (Boys and men have a lighter version of the intended bigger chest muscles effect).
The usual age to get the serum is around either 14 or 15, but people decide to give it to their children at 7 (the bigger chest size side-effect doesn't appear on 7-year-old girls and the bigger chest muscles don't appear on 7-year-old boys). And while it's mandatory for children, adults usually get it anyway just so that their children don't outlive them. And for the elderly, it makes them physically their prime, making them look around their 60s-to-early 70s, while also giving them a better physique. And this serum is infinitely made and stocked, it's contained in a location underneath Redwood Labs that's like Fort Knox x10,000. and it's never given out to people with a criminal record (or criminals in general), primarily because the scientists don't want to give basically an exaggerated super-serum to convicts, and while it had been 100% successful, it's better to be safe than sorry. And, while the heightened speed can't be turned off, the infinite strength can be turned off and adjusted. While these may sound like traditional dystopian tropes, that is NOT what Clone 9 is about. Far from it, actually, as Redwood Labs doesn't want OR need some type of odd dystopian future. Also, Meno-Z-infused humans have a lighter shade of blood compared to those who DON'T have the Meno-Z serum.
