Chapter Text
In a small home near the woods all the blinds were closed. Light was trying to go through the windows with all it’s power.
Then suddenly a loud thud continued by curses came from the house. All the birds stopped singing and flew away as fast as they could. After a while it was silent again. Some birds came back but mostly kept quiet. Ten minutes later a alarm went off and the blinds went up.
There stood Poland. Just awakened from a really good dream. They were hit by a ray of sun right in their eyes, it was probably a bad idea to stare at the sun. Poland definitely didn’t look like a model or a Disney princess but they also didn’t look too bad. Their eyes being a light gray color mixed with a light skin tone made them look pretty good.
Some people say they look just like their mother. The woman that lived many times. Poland was born before the Second World War. They later became Polish Secret State. But enough of that.
Their room was mostly clean if you don’t count their desk. That had a big collection of photos, texts and drawings laying on it and that were hanged around all the walls. You could find The Kotwica, a Polish Secret State symbol, Old photos of their mother, cut outs from the newspapers and a lot more. There was also a calendar that wasn’t easy to see. Today nothing important was supposed to happen so Poland took their casual clothes and went to the kitchen.
But not before tripping on the toy of their cat. What an unfortunate thing.
“KURWA” They screamed. Their cat coming in to check what’s going on. A slim dark body of a cat ran towards Poland laying on the floor. A quiet meow could be heard. Soon after the cat started playing with Polands hair. “Hi, buddy. You almost killed me. Do you want food, Wool?”
Wool meowed back, giving Poland a clear answer. This small kitty costed them around 240 zł each month. But for a while Wool has tried eating everything she could. Which ended in a few visits to the Vet. Poland made themselves food after filling Wools bowl.
Poland decided to watch a movie. They were in the middle of picking which one before getting a “few” texts.. It was not one message, not two, but a fucking 700 messages. Turns out that all the other countries texted all night while Poland was sleeping. They looked at the hour and found out it was 7 a.m. That’s when the “Do Not Disturb” mode was turning off. Poland sighed, petted Wool, turned on some kind of a nature movie and opened the group chat.
After three more movies they had read all the messages. Turns out someone stole United Kingdom’s biscuits, Portugal was sick and Russia almost lost his house because of gambling. Fortunately he didn’t lose. For an unknown reason Russia began tagging Germany and asking him if he can stay at his house until he doesn’t gamble a different house. Germany continued on disagreeing until he stopped responding. Lithuania at some point asked why is Poland inactive and began texting them on their dm’s if they were okay. It made Polands heart melt a little bit.
The countries started texting again one hour later and Poland got into an argument with some of the members of the group and stayed up until 2 a.m. They fell asleep with their phone in their hands and woke up super tired.
That’s when they decided to cause some mischief. But not before eating breakfast. And feeding Wool. And also going to buy groceries. They finally decided to cause mischief some different day.
