Summary:

A handmade postcard featuring the iconic quote "No stabbing Wednesdays, new tradition".

Notes:

Postcard is a 4"x6" Strathmore watercolor postcard (140lb). Inks used: Dr Ph Martin's Iridescent in 10R (Black Sparkle) and 1R (Silver), and Dr Ph Martin's Bombay in Crimson. Gold shimmer is Beam Paints in Mica Gold.

Work Text:

A 4-inch by 6-inch postcard rests on a medium brown background. The text on the top edge of the card reads 'No Stabbing Wednesdays:' and the text on the bottom edge reads 'New Tradition!'. In the bottom right corner of the postcard is text reading 'Leverage Gift Exchange 22'. All the words are written in cursive with a fine-point calligraphy pen. The ink is black and has a slight silvery sheen to it. Between the top and bottom text is a fork drawn in silver calligraphy ink, overlaid with a red X. The whole postcard has a gold sheen on top.
The same postcard viewed more edge-on, focused from the bottom edge of the card. The red X is more prominent at this angle. The same postcard tilted towards the right so that it catches the light. The gold shimmer over the card is more visible than in the previous photos.
