Chapter Text
Shouta Aizawa is a tired man, a tired man with a lot of responsibilities.
Shouta rolled over, blearily looking at the clock on his bedside table. It was 4:45 am, and his alarm was going to go off in fifteen minutes. He reached toward the nightstand, grabbed the bottle of eyedrops he kept there, and squeezed a few drops of solution in each of his eyes, getting rid of the morning dryness. Shouta rolled over again to face his husband, gently playing with his long, yellow hair. He chuckled, seeing his husband's mouth wide open and his glasses haphazardly placed on his face.
The alarm finally went off, and Aizawa shut it off, "Zashi, Hizashi, it's time to get up." Shouta said, rolling out of bed and turning on the table lamp. He began to get dressed as Hizashi started to stir. After hastily throwing on his hero costume, Shouta quickly brushed his hair and turned on the overhead light.
"Sho, that's too bright...turn it off!" Hizashi rolled over and pulled the blanket over his head. Aizawa sighed and walked over to his husband's side of the bed. He pulled back the covers and kissed Hizashi on the forehead, "Come on, Zashi, it's 5:15; it's time to get up. We're going to be late if you don't get in the shower soon." Hizashi sat up and practically fell out of bed.
"It's already that late?! Sho, why didn't you wake me up sooner? You know it takes forever to do my hair!" Yamada shouted as he scrabbled to the bathroom.
"I tried," Shouta called after him, "I'll fix breakfast while you're getting ready." With that, Shouta shuffled off to the kitchen to prepare breakfast.
~45 minutes later~
"ShOOOO! We'Re GoNnA bE lAtE!!!!!" Hizashi shouted, running around the corner and throwing on his signature leather jacket.
"You're being too loud, you stupid cockatoo, sit down and eat so we can leave," Aizawa said, taking off his cat-printed apron as he sat at the table. Hizashi, now in his Present Mic persona, followed quickly after. Aizawa made a simple breakfast of reheated miso soup, grilled fish, and rice with a glass of orange juice for Mic and some coffee for himself. They ate breakfast in relative silence, occasionally telling the other about their agendas for the day. After breakfast, they slid on their shoes and left for the day. Luckily, UA was only twenty minutes from their apartment, and they made it there around seven. Once the duo arrived on campus, they went their separate ways. Aizawa walked to his classroom to get ready for today's classes.
Once he got to his class, he was shocked to find a student already sitting at his door, slumped forward, seemingly asleep. He approached the boy and bent down beside him, shaking him slightly; as the boy started to wake up, Aizawa asked, "Midoriya? Why are you here so early?"
