Todoroki and Denki were bored and hanging out, as you do. When suddenly Denki had a random idea and sat up. "Todoroki.", the blonde addressed his friend. "Hm.", he responded. "What if Aizawa is related to Batman?", Denki asked excitedly. Clearly intrigued by the idea, Todoroki immediately stands up and goes to Denki's closet to get the theory whiteboard.
"How so?", he asks. "Well...Mr. Aizawa's probably depressed, and with his parents being dead as well as everything else that's happened to him, I imagine Batman would also probably be depressed.", the blonde stated, laying back down to think. "Hmm...I see.", Todoroki responds before scribbling Aizawa on one side of the board and Batman on the other and drawing a line in between to separate the sides. He then put 'Depressed?' under Batman and 'Depressed' under Aizawa.
Todoroki thinks before saying, "They both wear black and from what I've learned talking to Midoriya about quirk analysis and heroes, he works at night so he can blend in easier, has the element of surprise, and less people see him..." "Ooh! Write that down!", Denki exclaims excitedly. Todoroki writes 'wears all black' and 'works during the night' under both of them. Denki thinks..."OK uhmm OOH! Todoroki, Mr. Aizawa is an underground hero, right?", he says. "Uh...i think so." "And where is Batman's base?", the blonde said, connecting the dots. Todoroki blinks twice before writing 'underground' under both of them and saying, "They also are both around kids a lot."
"Ooh that's right!", Denki says, leaning himself on his hand as he sat up in bed again. "Mr. Aizawa has Class 1A, Eri, and his cats, and Batman has all of the Robins, Nightwing, AND Batgirl." Todoroki writes 'around kids' on the board "what else connects them, Kaminari?", he asks. Denki taps his chin "hmmmm well I think Mina said there's someone in one of the old yearbooks that no one's ever heard of and a page of tribute to him so I'm assuming he died...and Batman's parents also died so if Mr. Aizawa knew him then probably they both had someone they cared about die when they were younger?"
Todoroki was about to write that, but hesitates and looks back at Kaminari. "How does Mina know about this?" "She ran out of current tea and went back through old UA yearbooks to try and find some and she saw it, why?", the blonde said, thinking nothing of it. Todoroki turns back around to write on the board "that makes sense." He writes 'someone he cared about died when he was younger (parents)' on Batman's side and 'someone he cared about died when he was younger? (friend?)' On Aizawa's side.
Todoroki thinks "is there anything else you can think of to tie Mr. Aizawa and Batman together?", he asked Kaminari. "Hmmm well there's two things, but the first one is a bit of a stretch.", he responded. "What's the first one?", Todoroki asked. "Cat and Bat are one letter away from each other, rhyme, and Batman has his suit based off of his favorite animal and Mr. Aizawa really likes cats." Todoroki writes 'cat' under Aizawa's column and 'bat' under Batman's.
"And the second one?" Todoroki turned around to ask. Denki looks at Todoroki. "Well I might be wrong, but all signs on my gaydar point to Joker being bi, but it also points to Present Mic being bi or at the very least gay...so if I'm right, they both have a very expressive frenemy who is most likely gay..." Todoroki stares for a second, thinking before saying "hmmmmm I see..." The candy cane haired boy wrote down 'Has a very expressive frenemy who is most likely gay' under both columns and looked back at the electrified boy.
"Anything else to add?", he asked. Denki sucked in his cheeks for a second thinking..."well you should probably add 'and he's only gay for said frenemy' cuz Mina said, and I've been trying my best to pay attention, that it's very clear if you look for the signs that Present Mic likes Aizawa." This made Todoroki turn around a bit confused. "How does this relate to Batman, Kaminari?" "Well we watched the animated Batman series last week and-", the blonde said before getting cut off. "We?", Todoroki questioned. "Me and the boys.", the other boy answered. "Which ones?? There are twelve boys in our class other than you and I, as well as your friends from other classes.", Todoroki said. "Me, Sero, Kiri, and Bakugo.", Denki responded. "Ah OK. Continue." Todoroki said.
"Anyways it was clear in that series that the Joker is practically obsessed with Batman so much so that he'd rather neglect his relationship with Harley essentially stepping over her to get to Batman. She deserves better anyways, so it's fine." Todoroki blinked and Denki blinked back "I've never thought of that before...interesting..." He says turning back around to write on the whiteboard 'Only gay for said frenemy'. "So what's your assessment, Doctor 'roki?", Denki asked as Todoroki stood there writing something Denki couldn't see. "Is he the father?"
Todoroki turned around showing what he had written, circled, and double underlined on the whiteboard.
It read:
'MR. AIZAWA = BATMAN'S SECRET LOVECHILD??'
