This is a result of my ass getting Quincy's Christmas SSR skin😂😂 although I have like 3 assignments and have to read for my upcoming exams, I couldn't help myself and wrote this in my despire lmao.

Merry Christmas folks! Enjoy this fluff from me❣️❣️

Work Text:

A joyful Christmas song, obviously sung by a choir, could be heard coming from the living room of a nice, one storey house that was surrounded by trees - which were devoid of leaves or fruit as it was winter. Inside said home, Eiden could be found putting on the decorations on the large Christmas tree. He paused when a delicious aroma hit his nose and he inhaled deeply - sighing wistfully as the scent of baked goodies left an imprint in his brain.

Gods above, Eiden loved Christmas. Well, he currently does now with Quincy in his life. Before, the season to be jolly wasn't all that jollyful. It once represented how utterly lonely he was and how utterly alone his future had looked like from afar. His past relationships never lasted to the winter, and even if they did, he never felt warmth when wrapped in their arms. But the same couldn't be said for Quincy.

Even with his bored, tired and lazy disposition, Quincy was the best thing Fate had allowed him to achieve and keep. He and Quincy had come to know each other more, dating for a year and a half, and had tied the knot two months ago - under the falling petals of a beloved Klein flower tree. Olivine had been the one to officiate the marriage, the Alpha doing a splendid job in mixing both the church's and Quincy's ancient customs together. The Omega had been all smiles as his now husband had picked him up bridal style and left the church - cheers, applause and well wishes following after them.

Eiden could proudly and happily say he enjoyed the married life. It made him giggle (manly giggles, he internally emphasised) and his heart to soar in ecstasy whenever his eyes linger on the wedding ring on his finger - the diamond stone a rare yellow diamond and the band an intricate entwine of gold and silver, representing the joining of two entities that were he and Quincy.

The Omega bent to pick the star to be placed on the tree and his eyes caught sight of said ring. He slowly stood up, a large, lovesick smile spreading on his lips. He resumed his task trying to place the last Christmas tree ornament at the top, but his lacking height made that impossible.

"Come- ugh! On!" Eiden grunted as he outstretched his arm trying to reach the top, standing on his toes. The Omega decided to jump and see if he could get it right, but he only disrupted his balance and he found himself flailing as he tried to right himself. He nearly fell over, stumbling back a little, but a thick arm wrapped itself around him and brought him into a familiar hard body. He looked up and was met with the bemused stare of his husband. "Quincy!"

The Bear Deity only had on a pair of baggy sweatpants that hung low on his hips, showing his pelvic line. His hair was a mess, and he had a few hairs on his chin. At the moment he looked like a hobo - sexy hobo.

"Troublesome Omega." Quincy grabbed hold of the Christmas ornament from Eiden's hand. "Are you trying to get hurt? You could have injured yourself by tripping the tree over. Why didn't you use a chair?"

"Ahh." Eiden nervously laughed, scratching his cheek with a finger. His eyes trailed back to the stool that was standing peacefully a few feet away from them. "I forgot."

Quincy's bored look morphed into one of exasperation. "How troublesome." He heaved a sigh, getting a cute pout from the Omega.

Quincy released Eiden from his strong hold, getting the Omega to pout even harder. Eiden watched as the Bear Deity reached out effortlessly and placed the star upon the tree. His muscles rippled with his actions and Eiden couldn't help but stare and ogle his mate. Quincy felt his stare and the corner of his lips twitched in amusement.

"There." Quincy moved back and admired Eiden's work. "You outdid yourself once again, Omega."

Eiden puffed up in pride, his Inner Omega purring in delight at the praise their Alpha (although Quincy wasn't one traditional, but neither Eiden nor his Inner Omega seemed to care) bestowed onto them. The Omega found his way into Quincy's arms again, wrapping his arms around his husband, and he laid his head on that impressive pecs of his - sighing in contentment as his warmth wrapped Eiden in its soothing flow.

"I'm surprised you're awake at this hour." Eiden mumbled, nuzzling into Quincy's heat.

"Hm." Quincy grunted. "It's Christmas. The main day of the holiday you seem to love so much, so it would be rude of me to miss spending time with you."

Eiden looked up at the blown haired Deity with a soft smile. "How sweet of you, Quin." He stood on his tip toes and placed a caste kiss on Quincy's lips. "But seriously, are you going to be okay? You are cutting off some time from your Hibernation Cycle."

"I'll be fine."

Due to the fact that he was a Bear Deity, Quincy entered a cycle of hibernation, which Eiden had dubbed 'the Hibernation Cycle', every winter. He spent sixteen hours a day sleeping in a heated room. He was getting better at reducing the amount of hours he slumbered, but Eiden found no problem with this make up of his. He, along with Topper, slept in the room with him whenever they could - cuddling with him on the soft, Queen sized bed as the snow rained down onto the earth outside. It was one of the reasons why Quincy never took on fan meet ups in the winter.

"Speaking of Topper, where is he?"

"Still sleeping. He had a fill of meat this morning from Aiki. He's gonna get fat very soon."

Eiden chuckled, giving Quincy an amused stare. "Don't let him hear you say that. You don't want him giving you the cold shoulder like he did the last time now, do you?"

Quincy had once commented on Topper's weight and the ferret hadn't been pleased. He gave Quincy the cold shoulder for the whole day, staying with Eiden the whole time and ignoring Quincy when the Deity addressed him. In the end, Quincy apologised and pacified Topper with his favourite food: meat. Topper had pity on him and accepted his apology.

"You're not gonna tattle on me, are you?" Quincy cocked a brow, his lips quirking into a small smirk laced with amusement - and gods above that just upped his sexy meter.

"For the right price, I might just keep your transgression hush hush." Eiden purred, wrapping his arms around Quincy's next as he gazed at the god with a coy smirk.

Quincy heaved an amused sigh under his breath, muttering a "Troublesome Little Devil" before pulling his mate into a deep kiss. He took to ravishing his Omega's mouth, his tongue lazily mapping the orifice and stealing Eiden breath away.

When the couple pulled back, Eiden's eyes were hazy and his lips were slightly parted as he panted. Quincy's thumb traced Eiden's lips, caressing them with a gentle touch that was baffling for one his size - but not unusual for Quincy. He pulled Eiden into a hug again, the Omega once again nuzzling his chest with a purr, and the two stood before the Christmas tree, swaying a bit with the cheerful holiday music playing - the logs in the heath cackling as they burned and provided warmth to the room.

"Master, Eiden-sama." A familiar voice called out and the two turned to its direction. Standing by the large doorway leading in and out of the room was Aikiko, the Tiger Shifter wearing an apron that had smudges on it from her cooking duties. Her Tiger ears and tails were nowhere to be seen and her hair was done with a tight bun and was covered by a cooking cap. Aikiko was one who never joked about good and proper hygiene when it came to cooking. "Brunch is reading." She said with a bow, her hand on her chest.

Eiden perked up at the mention of food and Quincy knew he had lost his husband there and then. He allowed himself to be dragged away by the smaller man, a bored yet amused look on his face.

The two took their time in eating the food set out by Aikiko. It was at the table, food almost decimated, that Quincy brought out two tickets from his sweatpants and presented them to Eiden. The Omega, who had been chewing on a delicious thigh of a deep fried chicken glazed with sweet and sour sauce, almost choked when he saw what he took into his hand. Quincy sighed in exasperation, patting Eiden's back as the Omega chugged a glass of fresh orange juice.

"This is-!" Eiden wheezed out, staring at the tickets with wide eyes filled with disbelief. "These are tickets to Jörmungandrson Yakumo's Arrows of Eros!" Eiden hugged the tickets to his chest and squealed, getting a sigh from Quincy. "Quincy!" The Omega leaped at his husband, almost causing them to tumble over.

"Tch! Troublesome Omega!" Quincy complained, getting a giggle from Eiden who now had his arms wrapped around his neck.

"Thank you so much!" Eiden nuzzled his neck. "I tried getting them but they were sold out. I should have remembered that I have someone as resourceful as you." He grinned into Quincy's neck, getting the god to roll his eyes fondly.

"I'm honestly surprised you can pronounce his name. Jörmungandrson is a mouth full." Quincy muttered, popping a grape into his mouth and ignoring the purring Omega in his arms.

Jörmungandrson Yakumo, widely known as J.Y or simply Yakumo, was a rising star that Eiden had fallen in love with. For an actor who came into the spotlight just over a year ago, he was dominating the industry but nationally and internationally - with just two movies under his belt too. His second movie had tickets selling out in the blink of an eye and Eiden moaned about the fact that he couldn't get them to be one of the few people to see the movie first. But thank god for Quincy. His husband really made him fall deeper in love everyday with the simple things he did.

Once the two finished their brunch, Eiden decided to take another bath with Quincy - the two cozying up together in the tube filled with scented hot water. Seeing as they had enough time on their hand, they fucked in the bathroom - water splashing around as Quincy pounded Eiden's coherence away.

With Quincy wearing a fluffy head warmer (made by yours truly, Eiden), a black face mask, and a thick scarf that he used to cover the bottom of his face, Quincy wasn't recognised by the passing crowd. Both he and Eiden were bundled up in comfortable clothes (had a rune or two stitched on them to provide controlled heat depending on the weather) that provided much needed warmth from the cold.

The two sitted in the couples section of the cinema room, Eiden happily talking away or swooning whenever Yakumo came up. Although it wasn't his thing, Quincy followed the movie up so as to be a good conversationalist for Eiden if the Omega were to start babbling about the movie later on.

When the two left the cinema after the end of the movie, Eiden was gushing about his actor-crush. Quincy just watched him with an amused tilt of his lips, his usually bored and tired eyes shining with mirth.

"Should I be worried?" The god muttered in that deep voice of his, drawing his mate's attention back to him. "I feel like I now have another competition for your attention. Topper is enough."

Eiden snorted, grinning up at his behemoth of a husband. "Please, Yakumo-san is just my crush. You, on the other hand-" Eiden raised his gloved hand that held his wedding ring. "-are my husband. And Topper is my sweet baby. Don't worry, I won't run off into the sunset with him. Either of them." He patted Quincy's shoulder as if to console him.

"Thank the gods then."

Eiden gave his mate an amused smile, finding humour in that statement. He then reached into the pocket of his jacket and brought out a thin envelope wrapped with a tiny bow. "This is your real competition, dear husband of mine. And trust me, they'd be a tough one for you to handle."

With an owlish blink, Quincy took the wrapped envelope and gave Eiden an inquisitive look.

"Well? Open it!" Eiden grinned widely at him.

Quincy did as told, gently unravelling the bow and breaking the wax that held the envelope shut. Inside the envelope was a black and white picture, the picture grainy in quality. There was a tiny blob on it and Quincy squinted in confusion.

"Read the words on the back." Eiden said helpfully.

Quincy turned the picture around and read the words scribbled on it. "Artaois Vesper. Age: Two Months." The god blinked owlishly, trying to comprehend the words - turning the picture around. When it finally clicked in his head seconds later, his eyes went wide and he settled them onto an elated Eiden - whose eyes were shining with tears of unfathomable happiness. "Eiden... this is..."

Eiden nodded, humming in affirmation. "Merry Christmas, Quincy!"

Quincy pulled the Omega into a bear hug, his eyes closing as he inhaled Eiden's sweet scent. The god had been noticing some things that were off about his mate.

For some reason, the Omega started smelling sweeter, as if he was bathing in the deepest pool of ambrosia. Next was the fact that Eiden started getting, dear Quincy say, chubby. His mate started getting curvy - his hips slowly expanding, no doubt to accommodate their child. Eiden's abdomen was becoming hard and unyielding with a slight curvature creating a bump. At first he had thought that this might be due to the fact that Eiden started eating more than he usually did, but now that wasn't the case.

Thinking back now, Quincy realised that Aikiko knew about Eiden's development. She began to focus more on Eiden, always ready to listen and adhere to Eiden's requests and whims. The fact that Eiden managed to convince her to keep his pregnancy a secret from her master meant that she fully respected Eiden's authority more than Quincy - which the god couldn't fault, after all, Eiden was carrying his child.

Quincy pulled down his scarf and the face mask before leaning down and pulling Eiden into a kiss. The Omega leaned into it, closing his eyes as Quincy's lips took his breath away. When they both pulled back, Eiden grinned at Jim whilst Quincy gave him that small smile he was known for.

"I love you." Quincy whispered, his fingers capturing Eiden's chin. "Thank you."

Eiden's eyes were misty with unshed tears and his lips stretched into a breathtaking smile. His heart soared with the flames of love that seeped through his veins and lit up his very soul. Happiness like liquid gold sunk into his brain and it showed on his handsome face.

Quincy wasn't one to express himself with words. He had a hard time communicating his feelings, but when he did it made Eiden unbelievably happy.

Like a sign of blessing and approval from the gods and universe themselves, a drop of winter's beautiful stardust landed on Eiden's nose. The Omega looked up at the sky, Quincy following his example - his arms wound tight around his mate - and the two watched as snow gently trickled down onto the earth.

Eiden nuzzled closer to his mate, humming a sigh of content under his breath as Quincy's entire presence covered him.

"Oh my god! Isn't that Quincy Artaois?!" A shrill voice squealed out, shattering the couple's comfort and alone time.

"Oh shit! It is him!"

People who were no doubt Quincy's fans or knew of him turned their attention onto them, causing Quincy to raise his mask back up. Before they knew him, phones were brought out and people were either videoing or taking pictures of them. Eiden could see that his husband was getting highly irritated and he grabbed the god's hand.

"Let's go~!"

And the Omega took off, Quincy allowing himself to be dragged. In the end, Quincy picked Eiden into a bridal carry and the two zoned off - Eiden's loud and joyous laughter ringing in the air like the sweet and soft bells of heaven.

Hours later saw the two cuddling on the love sofa before the fireplace. Eiden was melted into the hold of his husband, his hand on Quincy's as the Bear Deity gently caressed his abdomen. Quincy's lips were tilted into a small smile, his body utterly relaxed and soaking up the warmth of his mate and cackling, controlled fire.

A child... he was having a child with Eiden.

He buried his nose in Eiden hair, the sweet sandalwood and honey of the Omega's shampoo entering his senses softly like a lover's caress.

A child of his own... maybe it won't be so bad.
