Kaveh was visiting Gandharva Ville as requested by Tighnari in his recent letter so Kaveh came. He was excited to see Tighnari but he didn't know Tighnari was going to be out on patrol for the day. So Kaveh sulked in Tighnari's bed but thankfully wasn't alone because Collei was keeping him company.
While Kaveh laid on Tighnari's bed with his legs hanging off on the side, Collei sat at the desk drawing a flower. The flower was from one of Tighnari's recent patrols so he wanted Collei to draw it to add it into his notes when he returned. However Collei wasn't feeling it and used Kaveh's visit as an excuse to hold off on drawing.
"What is there to do around here?" Kaveh asked as he looked over at the bulletin board.
"Nothing much." Collei answered, which made Kaveh sigh. She tried to draw more of the flower but she couldn't get the petals correctly.
"What are you doing?" Kaveh got up and quietly walked over which startled Collei. He made sure to keep his distance but it was his silence that startled her.
"Uh drawing." She slid the paper over for Kaveh to pick up. He did so then looked between both the drawing and flower. "Is it that ugly you can't tell what it is?"
"Huh?! No! It's looking great!" Kaveh quickly said so Collei didn't misunderstand him but her laughter made it obvious she was just messing with him. Kaveh sighed in relief then shook his head with a small chuckle.
"Do you want to draw with me?" Collei suggested and Kaveh's eyes widened.
"Sure!" Kaveh happily agreed because that would help pass the time until Tighnari returned but truth be told, Collei was pushing her work onto Kaveh.
Collei sat in the only chair because Kaveh refused to take it because his legs could support him crouching. It was a lie but he wasn't going to let Collei stand. The two drew the same flower then a few other things around Tighnari's room to surprise him once he returned.
"So~" Collei smirked as she leaned back in her chair and pointed her pencil to Kaveh. "What have you done with Master Tighnari?" She squinted her eyes to show she meant business.
Kaveh smiled at Collei because why is she asking that out of nowhere?!
"Have you kissed him?" She asked and got her answer when Kaveh's face turned bright red. She nodded then smirked. "Have you taken him out on a date?"
Kaveh averted his eyes to the wall.
"How do you kiss someone before a date?!" She gasped.
"I'd rather not say." Kaveh mumbled then slowly turned his back to her.
"Don't avoid me!"
"What's with all the yelling in here?" The two jumped up when Tighnari walked in. Even Tighnari got surprised but that was because Kaveh's leg cramped up and he sent him back into the desk.
Kaveh was leaning on Tighnari's desk while Tighnari had kicked Collei over to his bed so he could have the chair. With his hands around Kaveh's thigh, Tighnari massaged it in hopes to help get rid of the cramp. Kaveh was silent throughout because the ache of the cramp kept him from thinking about Tighnari's hands. Which was good because Collei was stuck watching these two.
"How was your patrol?" Collei spoke up and it looked like Tighnari remembered Collei was there.
"Ah, you know the usual." Tighnari coughed while rushing to erase any thoughts he had.
"Mn." Collei stood up and went over to the desk. "Kaveh and I drew you some drawings. You should take a look at them later."
"I will, thank you, Collei." Tighnari smiled then held a fist out.
"The better looking ones are mine." Collei bumped her fist against his then turned to leave. "Feel better Kaveh and good night you two."
"Thanks." Kaveh nodded.
"Good night." The two then said so Collei left Tighnari's hut since she had nothing else to do and was obviously interrupting them.
"Sorry I wasn't here to greet you." Tighnari sighed as he let Kaveh's thigh go.
"It's alright. Collei was here and kept me company!"
Tighnari nodded but he still felt a little sad. It wasn't often that they could meet in person so to learn he missed hours of this special opportunity sucked. Then all negative thoughts were knocked out of him when there was sudden weight on his lap. He looked at Kaveh with wide eyes.
"Collei isn't here so I thought I could just sit here." Kaveh explained then tried to get up but Tighnari grabbed his arm.
"It's okay. You can sit there." Tighnari said while biting back a smile. However any attempt to hide his excitement got ruined by his tail wagging excitedly behind him.
Kaveh chuckled because of Tighnari's tail. He wrapped his arms behind Tighnari's neck so he could bring their faces closer.
"You have a very nosey student." Kaveh said and Tighnari raised a brow for more details. Kaveh looked around then leaned into Tighnari's ear. "She heard that we kissed.. before we ever had a date!" He gasped.
Tighnari sat frozen and in disbelief. He really thought he was doing a good job at hiding their public affection but if earlier wasn't enough then now he knows he sucked at it.
Kaveh laughed at the expression on Tighnari's face then grabbed the drawings to help him move on. He flipped through the pages then dropped all but two back onto the desk.
"Guess whose is whose." Kaveh sat back so Tighnari could get a good view of both drawings beside one another.
Tighnari blinked a few times to bring himself back to reality then looked at the drawings. He looked between the two but his eyes kept going up to look at Kaveh's smile. At one point he stopped looking at the drawings so he could just stare at Kaveh's smile.
"My mouth isn't a part of this." Kaveh held the papers over his face because Tighnari's staring was making him blush.
"But I want it to be."
Kaveh didn't know how to respond to that nor how to react when Tighnari grabbed his wrists. He let Tighnari pull his hands down so he looked at Tighnari. They looked at each other in silence for what felt forever when Tighnari let Kaveh's wrists go.
Kaveh thought that was it but then he felt Tighnari's hands on his cheeks. He immediately closed his eyes because he knew what was coming.
Tighnari pulled Kaveh's head towards him to connect their lips. The sound of paper falling on the floor was followed by Kaveh's hands on the back of his head to pull Tighnari in closer.
