Kyo gritted his teeth as Akito slapped him across the face. "You disgust me Kyo.. You should have died instead of your mother." Akito hissed.
Kyo kept his gaze on the floor, he noticed his eyesight was going blurry. Great... I'm crying.. Kyo thought and Akito just sighed as he stared at Kyo.
"Get out Kyo, I'm finished with you. Just know I love you so much." Akito said as he watched Kyo leave. Kyo didn't mutter anything, he just stayed quiet.

As he walked back to the house, he decided to walk through the woods to get to the house. He listened to the sounds of the birds chirping, the breeze gently shaking the leaves on the trees. The words of Akito replayed throughout his head over and over again.
He stopped in his tracks and being to sob softly as he knelt down. His body was softly shaking. He needed to cry out here before getting to the house.
He didn't want them to see him cry. They would label him as weak. He didn't want Tohru especially to see him cry.
"A-akito's so right.." Kyo whispered to himself.

"I'm just saying, slip a few chives into the riceball to give to Kyo." Yuki said and Tohru laughed softly. "Yuki! Kyo doesn't like chives though."
"That's the point."
"You two are so mean to each other!"
Tohru laughed softly and Yuki just smiled. "Yeah well, I hope Kyo comes back soon, he might miss dinner-" Tohru began to say before the door opened.
Kyo quickly took off his shoes and quickly ran up the stairs. She heard somewhat crying sounds coming from him. Yuki must have picked up on it too, but before he could speak, Shigure asked the question the both of them were wondering.
"Was Kyo crying just now?" He asked and Yuki shrugged. "Maybe." He replied. Tohru bit her lip before serving Yuki and Shigure. "Here, eat while I go talk to Kyo." She said. "Oh Tohru, just eat with us, crying is normal-" Shigure began to say before she interrupted.
"Well, to me it's not normal for him to cry so I'm going to comfort him if he wants comfort." She said as she began to walk to the stairs. They didn't attempt to talk her out of it.
She slowly walked up the stairs and walked to his room. As she got near his room, she heard the soft sobs coming from inside. It broke her heart to know Kyo was crying. She knocked gently. "Kyo? May I come in?" She asked and she realized the crying somewhat stopped, or was trying to be stopped.
A few seconds later the door opened and Kyo was standing behind the door. "Kyo are you okay-" She asked before Kyo immediately clinged to her and began to cry into her shoulder. She was slightly surprised he did that but was slightly glad too.
She rubbed his back softly and pulled away from him for a moment. "How about we go sit on the bed and see if you want to talk about it, hm?" She said. Kyo didn't say anything but gently grabbed her hand and lead her to the bed.
They both sat down on the bed. It was quiet (except for the occasional hiccups from Kyo) for a few minutes before she opened up her arms. "C'mere Kyo.." She said, Kyo looked hesitant at first but went into the embrace.
He buried his face into her shirt and she ran her hands through his hair. "What's wrong?" She asked and Kyo muttered something uncoherently. "Hm?" She whispers and he pulls away from her slightly. "A..akito.." He whispers and she sighs.
"I see... well, whatever he said wasn't true.. Don't believe any words that come from his mouth." She whispered. Kyo looked up at her and she smiled before pressing a kiss to his forehead. "Now.. do you want to eat or cuddle for a bit?" She asked and he cuddled into her more. "Cuddles." He whispers and she smiles.
As she ran her fingers through his hair, he felt safe in her embrace.
