Work Text:

He awoke in the middle of nowhere, soaked in blood, fabric that resembled his clothes hanging on his skin. The sun shone on his bloodied figure, and right in his orbs. He lifted himself with his arms and slowly looked at his surroundings. He raised his hand to protect his eyes from the raging light coming through the trees, his whole body was covered in blood. He fell into a panic, whose blood is this? Is this his own? Even if it was, there was no injury in sight.

He felt disgusting and sticky, the feeling of dried and dirty blood on his skin made it hard to even move. “Shit.” He cursed to himself, voice hoarse and tired. Then, it hit him. What happened last night hit him like a speeding train. He tried to collect his senses and not have a full panic attack. He knew he turned into one of those wolves. What if he hurt someone? What if he hurt...

Ryan

His eyes widened. He immediately got up and began trying to understand his surroundings. Okay, he's been here before. He can find the lodge from here.

The walk was only a few minutes, but it felt like hours, the thoughts not helping at all. Those monsters are deadly and vile creatures, and he was one of them. He got an example of it right before his transformation, of what he would become. And hopefully, what he used to be.

The feeling of leaves and dirt underneath his feet were so uncomfortable he curled his toes almost the whole walk.

On the way to the lodge, he saw the lake. He might as well clean himself off. He stopped at the lake, stripped down to his boxers, and hopped in. He used the lake like a big bathtub. God, why did the water feel so much better? He used his hands to wipe himself off, the dried blood coming off in flakes. Once he finished the small clean, he hopped out, almost fully naked, and began walking to the lodge. He still had some leftover blood on him but it was better than nothing.

He started to get more worried as he kept walking, not one of his counselor friends in sight. What if they are all dead? What if he killed them? He finally made it to the lodge. As soon as he took a step on the stairs he saw a white car in his peripheral vision coming towards him. It took him a few seconds to realize it was a cop car. “God damn it.” He sighed. He completely forgot about the police. He knew he was probably going to prison for life, but then, a familiar face left the car. It was Ryan.

His eyes sparkled and he grinned brightly as he ran down to see him. He was okay, that was all that mattered to him. Sure, the others meant something to him as well but now Ryan was here, nobody else mattered. No offense, Kaitlyn.

“Ryan!” Dylan cheered as he lunged towards Ryan and took him in. “Hey, Dyl.” Ryan awkwardly patted his back in a smile to return the hug. He wasn't a very touchy person. Usually, he would try to get the other person off of him. But for Dylan? He doesn't mind at all.

They stayed in that position for a bit before he finally pulled away when he saw another person leave the vehicle. Oh, it was that Laura girl. She looked very differently than he last saw her. She had on a grey dress and her hair looked shorter and wavier.

He didn't really like Laura. It always seemed that she was trying to take Ryan away from him. She seemed flirty with Ryan. Yeah, she has a boyfriend, but like Kaitlyn said at the scrap yard, Ryan is Ryan.

“Oh, yeah. Hey.. Laura.” He awkwardly waved as he pulled from the hug and let his hands fall to his sides. “Hey, uhh.. I'm guessing, Dylan?” He said in a smile. “Yup, that's my name.” Dylan said as another face, yet one a lot more unfamiliar hopped out of the car.

“Who's this?” Dylan asked as he lifted his hand to his hip and pointed to the strange policeman. “Long story.” Ryan answered with a sigh and his lips made a straight line up to his nose. The man shyly waved and nodded his head. “Travis.” He said. Dylan shook his head in dismissal and let his pointer finger fall.

He took a look at Ryan, covered in blood, but not much different than when he last saw him. In all honesty, the blood on his face was seductive to Dylan. Though the extra blood on his side was a little concerning, it gave hot serial killer vibes and he was digging it. But he still decided to be a comedian. “You look horrendous.” He joked in a grin. “You're not looking so good either.” Ryan replied, his tone having a little bite to it.

He was lying, every bit of him knew he wanted to devour Dylan. He never knew Dylan could look so sexy, but there he was, just in his underwear, almost fully exposed. He admired his body and made sure to be subtle, he looked him up and down and tried to have an attitude.

He glanced at the freckles on his soft, but broad shoulders, his soft and adorable belly, his slim waist and how it complimented his curvaceous hips and thighs. His body was pretty feminine, but he loved it with everything in him.

He would never admit how he took every chance he had during camp to peek at Dylan's ass. You couldn't imagine what he was thinking the day Dylan decided to wear skin-tight shorts for volleyball. His team lost the game that day for some mysterious reason.

Dylan kind of felt bad after his remark. They had a long night, who really looks picture-perfect right now?

“Fuck off.” Dylan scoffed and waved a hand. His voice had a little sass in it as well. Ryan chuckled a bit in disbelief and looked up into Dylan's eyes. Dylan hadn't realized it until he looked up from the ground and gave in to his challenging stare. They both had the same mischievous look on their faces. The stare lasted for only a few seconds longer before they both, very forcefully, cupped each other's faces and pulled each other into a rough kiss.

Their lips crashed together like two cars smashing in a car accident. They were both honestly surprised that they didn't break their noses into the kiss. Dylan felt like he was in one of those teen romance movies, the longer the kiss lasted, the more he could almost hear the fireworks in the background. Dylan put two fingers behind Ryan’s ears and a thumb on his jaw and, somehow, pulled him even closer.

He tilted his head and slightly opened his mouth, letting Ryan slip his desperate tongue in there. Ryan’s tongue in his very own mouth felt like magic. He almost could feel his feet lifting off of the earth as he drifted off into the kiss, not caring about anything else around them. “Mmm, Ryan I missed you.” He mumbled into the kiss. He could feel the blood and hot saliva hitting his taste buds, it was amazing. Probably more satisfying than it should be. “I missed you too.” Ryan mumbled back.

The kiss lasted for almost too long, but neither of them cared. They could shrug off every single one of their problems right now and not even feel bad later. With how close they were, you almost couldn't see their tongues swirling with one another. It was almost like they were becoming one.

“Get a room, you two!” Laura barked, almost chuckling. They both pulled away for a second, gave her a look, then shrugged her off and kept making out. Laura and the policeman both looked at each other then nodded in agreement.

Laura went behind Dylan, Travis went behind Ryan, and they both took a tug at each of them. For a second, they didn't even budge. It was like they were physically attached to each other. “Okay, enough suckin’ face, guys.” Travis said as he finally got Ryan off of Dylan. Laura was struggling to get Dylan off of Ryan. Dylan was a bit stronger than her, at least at the moment, and made sure she struggled.

“You done?” Travis asked as he put Ryan down. Ryan sighed and licked his lips. He actually contemplated for a second, and so did Dylan. “I guess.” Dylan huffed. “Good.” Laura said as she let go of his arms.

Ryan looked at Dylan then spread his arms out and tried to hug him but Travis pulled him back by his shirt. “Dude- what- Get your hands off me!” He swatted him away. “I'm just going for a hug man. Jesus.” He huffed and took Dylan in. “I thought you died.” Dylan whispered. “Same. Did you turn?” Ryan asked. “Y-yeah. I'm scared I hurt someone.” Dylan admitted. “Hey, I'm sure you didn't. It's over, Silas is dead its okay.” Ryan consoled. He wasn't very good at that, but for Dylan? He would try.

“I thought your name was Dylan.” Laura said and gave Ryan a glare. Dylan and Ryan both looked at her confused. “It is.” Dylan said and slowly pulled from the hug. “Oh really? Because from what I'm seeing your name is neither.” Laura kept staring at Ryan. “Unless.. of course, Ryan is cheating?” She teased and tilted her head. “What the hell?” Ryan jaw lowered a bit and his eyebrows furrowed, really offended by the accusation. “Ryan, what is she saying?” Dylan asked, a bit worried she was right.

“I have no id- Oh. Ohhh! Hey- shut up!” Ryan barked. Dylan raised a brow and crossed his arms. “What's that supposed to mean?” He asked. “So am I wrong?” Laura taunted. “Shut the fuck up.” Ryan growled. “Hello?! Anyone gonna answer me?” Dylan waved his hands. “I'll tell you later.” Ryan dismissed. “No, I wanna know n-!” He was cut off.

“I fucking knew it!” A voice emerged from the distance. Kaitlyn, Emma, and Abi walked up to the four. Emma was laughing herself half to death, Abi was chuckling behind her hand, and Kaitlyn had her arms crossed and tapped her foot on the ground, waiting for an answer.

The two just bashfully looked at each other. “K-knew what?” Dylan finally spoke, hands fiddling with each other. “Don’t play dumb, Dylan. You either Ryan! I knew you two were just dying to tongue each other's throats!” She accused and pointed at the two of them. “Same, you two were like- totally falling for each other since you guys met. But I wasn’t sure if it was Kaitlyn or Dylan. Why do you think I said that dare?” Emma agreed as she put her hands on her hips. Abi just nodded and whispered a small ‘Totally’ in her ear and Emma grinned then wrapped an arm around her.

Was it really that obvious? Yeah, Ryan kissed him back at the campfire, but that was just a dare. And yeah, he would always use any free time he had just to speak to him, but that was because nobody else understood him. And yeah, he always flirted. Yeah, he’s spent what seemed like hours staring at the boy, but- Wait.. was he in love? He felt his face heat up at the thought.

“That obvious, huh?” Dylan joked and choked out a very forced laugh. Ryan looked at him for a second then let a smile raise the corner of his lips. “Very obvious.” Kaitlyn said. “Almost too obvious.” Abi added. Emma giggled and playfully shoved her.

“Shit, we gotta get better at being subtle.” Dylan joked to Ryan, but his stare turned something in Ryan’s jeans. “Everyone knows now, so what’s the point?” He shrugged. “Does this mean we are- uhh..” Dylan bashfully asked. Ryan nodded and grinned as he intertwined their fingers.

Dylan honestly thought that this was taking it too fast. Relationships right after such a traumatizing experience was probably not the best idea, but it was Ryan. Why would he deny being the boyfriend of the man that twisted his stomach when he looked at him for over five seconds? He wouldn't even think of it. He felt his body temperature rising and knew he was visibly blushing. He cursed his lack of melanin.

They stared into the eyes of each other again. It looked like they were telepathically speaking to each other. “Oh lord, here we go again.” Laura sighed as the boys went into another unnecessarily rough make-out session. Travis shook his head and went to pull them away again but Kaitlyn stopped him. “Just let ‘em.” She said. He put his hands up in surrender.

Surprisingly enough, nobody asked about the new guests. Kaitlyn and Abi didn't know about Travis, and Emma didn't know about Travis, nor Laura. But they brushed it off. It has been too long of a night to care.

They sucked faces like teens in high school. They weren't shy of making some noises in the kiss. It was almost as if they were bragging. Well, Dylan was. He made sure Laura saw how deep his tongue got in Ryan’s throat. They pulled away for a second, taking breaths. “Finally.” Laura sighed. Everyone thought the two boys were done until they pulled each other back in.

“Okay! Yup, you can pull them apart now!” Kaitlyn sharply inhaled. Travis didn't even wait a second to comply and pull the boys away from each other.

“Sorry.” Ryan coughed into a fist. “Couldn’t help myself.” He said. “We could tell.” Emma chuckled. They all stood in comfortable silence for a bit before hearing police sirens. “Oh for heavens sake.” Dylan exasperated. “What did you just say?” Ryan breathily chuckled. “Kiss me again before we get arrested.” Dylan solicited. As soon as their tongues got close to touching, Dylan was pulled away by Kaitlyn.

“We are not getting arrested, and Jesus Christ if you two kiss again I honestly think you’ll melt into each other.” Kaitlyn scolded. She kept his wrist in her hand and made sure to make her grip tight so he wouldn't escape. “Ow!” Dylan hissed. “Chill out, I bruise easily!” He whined. “So does Max.” Laura mumbled.

The policemen hopped out of the car and took their clipboards out. They tightly clutched onto their guns and walked up to the teens.

They had a hell of a lot of explaining to do.
