Chapter Text
It was another regular Tuesday morning in Japan. The cars and trains were filled with many people trying to get to work or school, maybe just to go shopping? Everyone had a goal, a place to go to. Or did they...??
One of them didn't.. A tall, lean blue haired boy, he was standing around, holding the top railing of the wagon to not lose balance. He was dressed in a neat school uniform, his hair on the other hand was on the messier side. In this Situation he wasn't able to read his book or look at his phone, it was too crowded in the wagon to even breathe.
Every other student was talking to their friends, giggling about newest gossip or crush. Why wasn't he doing that? Why didn't he have any close friends to talk with?
Well, you could say he doesn't trust many people...
He used to have a friend group, for quite a while even. The 5 of them got along pretty well. All of them strived the idea of a forever childhood, never growing up and living their innocent dreams. But the entire Paradise ended once the first one hit puberty... Soon after everyone else followed and it finally hit them: childhood dreams ain't SHIT. No matter how long they believed into the plan working everyone had to go down the path and grow up. Soon after graduating elementary school everyone went their own ways. At some point all 5 of them got enrolled in the Hopes Peak Academy, went to the same class. Had the same exams. Same classmates, but it wasn't the same.. It never will. In front of others, they act as if they weren't the closest friends group in elementary. Now, at the age of 17, Nagisa Shingetsu, Ultimate Sociologist, had no idea where and what to go in his future. Top of the class, perfect grades and neat reputation. Yet still without any friends, lovers or plans for what to do after.. He always told his parents he has a plan, that he won't disappoint them, that he'll be successful. But is this what he wanted..?
Soon he arrived at his destiny and walked in the direction of the school building. Suddenly, he heard his phone vibrate in his pocket. He fished it out and unlocked it. He got a message from.. Kotoko?
Turns out, she created a Group-chat titled "Ex-Warriors of Hope" ... odd choice. The message was:
"Hiiii guuuys,
I know its been a while since all of us talked but I MISSED YOUR ADORBS FACES SO MUUUCH
The last time we spoke didn't go too well, I know, but I feel like as almost adults we should be able to talk things through and maybe hang out again????? I would totalls luvv is xxx"
Kotoko wants the group to reunite?? That's pretty predictable, she wasn't too happy about it disbanding in the first place. Nagisa was about to type out a response until he noticed that Masaru left the group without a word. Sheesh, he could at least say "no sorry guys" "I am not ready yet" "fuck you and your moms" but he just,,, left. But who needs him? He's a prick, a stupid jock who only thinks of soccer, partying and pretty girls. Another person reacted to the message, this time Jataro.
He wrote:
"seems like somebody was VERY eager to see us... But I am totally down, unlike Mr. I-am-better-than-you-because-I-get-bitches."
"I have nothing else to do anyways." Monaca answered as well. Nagisa couldn't act like Masaru and wrote: "I can do it, too. Where do we meet?"
The group decided to meet up at the dorms common room during Lunch. Today will be an interesting day..
