Chapter 1: Casa Del Cielo
Drinking coffee on his balcony, the taste of caramel macchiato on his lips, Matteo Lopez licked the sides of his lips as he took a deep breath, looking at the great view in front of him. Watching how Florentine, Wave, Yno, Letisha and Celestia kept playing around with their gifts, they're just cute kids growing up and learning new things like how to control their powers or how to try new skills.
Matteo saw how Florentine wanted to hit Wave with a cactus so Matteo shouted "BEHIND YOU, CURLY HEAD"
Hearing that, Wave looked back and hit Florentine with water making her drenched up. The other kids laughed out loud including Matteo who scoffed as Florentine looked up at the balcony, staring at him with angry eyes "TITO!" Florentine shouted and Matteo just shrugged.
Looking away while drinking his coffee, Matteo's eyes caught something. He narrowed his eyes and saw a person covered in black cloth, however, the stranger saw Matteo looking and so the guy in black cloth panicked, letting go of her cloth and that's when Matteo saw that person's wings "fairy wings" Matteo whispered with his eyebrows knitted as he hurriedly ran down his home, chasing that person through the woods only to see that Miguel caught the person already.
"Who are you...bakit ka nandito? Sinong ipinunta mo rito?" Miguel interrogated her but the person kept resisting and so Matteo let out some flames
"Speak or I'll burn your wings into ashes" Matteo threatened her which made the girl's eyes go wide "Who are you and why are you here in our home" Matteo asked
"Wala akong b-balak na masama, nandito ako para hanapin ang isang tao" the girl muttered
"Sinong hinahanap mo?" Miguel asked
Eyes darting at Matteo, the girl gulped "buhok na kasing kulay ng dugo, may kakayahang pa-amuhin ang apoy...ikaw" the fairy mumbled softly and so Matteo got more curious.
"Anong pangalan mo at saan ka galing?" He asked
"Eli…" the girl answered "Nais kong makitang muli ang aking pamilyang namayapa na, kung kaya't naghanap ako ng paraan—"
"Ang patay ay hindi na muling mabubuhay pa" Matteo hissed, hearing that nonsense "Sila'y namamahinga na sa kabilang buhay at hindi na natin sila maaaring makita pang muli—"
"Maari iyon" Eli answered "Maaari natin silang makitang muli, mahagkan at makausap muli…" Eli continued "Ako ay nagmula sa Casa Del Cielo, isang kaharian sa kalangitan. Ako'y ipinalaki ng hari roon kung kaya't ako'y tinuturing na prinsensa, bagama't bago ako ipakilala ng aking amang hari sa lahat ay gusto ko muna makilala at makita ang tunay kong pamilya, kahit isang beses lang. Ako'y nagbasa ng libo-libong libro para lang malaman kung paano ko makikita at mahagkan muli ang aking pamilya, sinuway ko ang utos ng aking amang hari kaya sana...ginoo, sana'y bukas palad mo akong tulungan, ako'y nagmamakaawa sa iyo" Eli mumbled, eyes starting to moist up because she's about to cry.
Matteo on the other hand felt his heart beating so fast, this is it, a way for him to meet Nieves again, a way for him to see him again. He looked at Eli with calm eyes and that's when he spoke "sa loob tayo mag-usap"
