Information, content warnings, and other such things
Hi and welcome! Before clicking on to the next chapter please take a moment and look over the info here so you can better understand the rest of the story. It isn't much to read, I promise, it's mostly just how the I've chosen to integrate the canon story to my OCs', and some headcanons to help flesh out the story better.
- Headcanons:
- As there is little to no information about how a god chooses an avatar (other than Marc, Layla, and Harrow), I feel like it is possible to take some creative liberty on this matter.
- Serket is a goddess who we have a lot of information on, yet not quite enough to definitely pinpoint their personality, and as such I have tried making an guesstimated approach.
- Not all the gods are called to all the meetings.
- Other information:
- There will be a bunch of Serket lore in this story, I ended up hyperfixating on research about them for this exact story .
- There will be some modernized things about the gods, which means they are not 100% true to Egyptian mythology. I will try my best not to stray too much, but I'll just leave this here as a precaution.
- Let's be honest, the show doesn't give us a lot of info to go off on if we want to make our own characters, so take this story with a pinch of salt and lets go!
