Chapter Text
Technoblade was a warrior, feared and looked up to.
Everywhere he went and everywhere he left, all eyes were on him. He was a whisper that passed bars, inns and castles of kings and queens.
He travelled everywhere, from countries to continents, raging wars and causing calamities from places he walked.
People knew him as the "Blood God":
The one who held the sword of justice and chaos. People would cheer his name, as much as they screamed it.
He was a walking hope for the mistreated.
But one day it stopped, people were saddened that he disappeared.
He was a roaring figure in a crowd.
They mourned until word of whispers disappeared.
A legend from centuries ago…
A myth that was once true…
If only they knew where he was.
What he was doing.
They’d definitely whisper about the way Techno was living nowadays, most likely lonely, in pain and pathetic but he, himself couldn’t disagree more.
He enjoyed living in a place without people, he enjoyed it where no one could bother him.
It's a lifestyle that contradicts his past, but it’s lovely he’d say.
He likes being alone with just himself and the lovely sun.
It’s all he really needs.
The sun grows his crops which provides him the food that he eats.
The sun provides him warmth, contrasting the cold tundra that he calls home.
And the sun provides him comfort in such a dislocated place.
He was never going to be alone, as long as he continued shining.
He admires him from afar.
No eyes would ever be able to see the beauty he held.
So he was special to Techno, a one and only treasure.
He watches him every day, month and year.
He welcomes him when it’s dusk and blows him a kiss goodnight when it’s dawn.
When he’s not there he waits.
He’d lay on his bed for hours, looking at the window waiting for a slight crack of orange in the distance.
Hours upon hours he’d wait.
But there are days where he doesn’t rise, those days make Techno envious.
He didn’t find it fair that other people got to bask in his light as per schedule.
But he couldn’t blame him too much, techno did decide to live in the highest continent.
And he couldn’t be mad at him either, he’s sure the days he never set was an apology.
He wished he’d looked at him, even once it’d make him happy.
He wished he’d noticed his existence and remembered him.
And of all the little things he did…
During summer and spring he’d place sunflower seeds.
He doesn’t know why, but he’s sure that he would love them.
It was hard at first, sunflowers don't really do well in snow but a little magic does no wrong.
He’d dedicate anything to do something that he would love.
Sometimes he’d make hot chocolate for the both of them, but he does feel a bit bad drinking his cup after he finished his.
Sometimes he’d read out loud, he’d look a bit crazy, but maybe he was listening to him.
Sometimes he’d have conversations with him , even if he wasn’t good at them, even if they were only one sided; maybe he’d laugh at Techno’s jokes and make some of his own.
Sometimes he’d feel like crying.
He knows he’d never feel the happiness of standing next to him.
He knows he’d forever be alone watching him , wishing that one day he’d watch him back.
He knows that he’d never be able to say that he loves him in person.
He knows his desires would never be reciprocated.
He wants to know his name.
He wants to know his touch.
He wants to know his feelings.
He wants to know his thoughts
He wants to know his voice.
He wants to hear his laugh.
He wants to love him …
