He was early!
The Snake Demon grinned a devilish smile that showed his fangs as this information dawned upon him.
He'd beaten Arackniss to their favorite rooftop!
He could practice his sneaking then, show Nissy how well he'd gotten at approaching someone without being noticed!!
Rubbing his hands together evilly, Sir Pentious cackled and backed up into the shadow of the rooftops door and waited for the Hitman.
He'd be so surprised! So proud!
He could see the Snipers face lighting when he found who'd bested him at last~
Without taking notice of the surrounding area as he played the moment of rapture at finally winning SOMETHING, someONE had indeed come upon the roof that the wannabe Overload resided and waited with baited breath, ready for their chance to strike.
It came with a single buzz buzz from somewhere upon their person and they moved like a liquid shadow towards the unaware snake.
"Ohh~" He held a hand over his mouth but couldn't help but giggle as he managed to hear the soft 'tap tap' of 'Arackniss' toe pads upon the roof just ahead of himself.
He hadn't a clue~
Without looking at whom he was jumping out at, believing above all that it was Arackniss and that he knew his attempts by now, the serpentine Sinner leapt with hood flared and a powerful hiss, trying to seem as threatening as possible to his little Sniper~
He still believed it was Nissy that he'd gotten the jump on, even when something far more painful then his fall to Hell struck him in the stomach, plunging like cold fire deep into his soft underbelly scales, sizzling on contact with his Sinner blood.
His mind still hadn't time to process what had happened to the point that when he fell backwards with a loss of air in his lungs, he imaged Nissy having jumped him instead, his plan to be sneaky failed and the spider Demon was showing him how best it should be done~
Silent, calculated-
Cold?
Painful?
In quick succession, the blade was wrenched from the snake's stomach, releasing a gush of blood at its removal, and returned but through the heart.
The serpent's scarlet eyes stared ahead blankly by this point, the pain sending him off somewhere far away, yet, in his mind, he'd thought he'd gotten the best of his little Sniper and all this pain was just a farce!
A joke-
That they'd soon be laughing at how terrified the snake Demon was and sooner still get told a lengthy description of how all this pain was just a Hitman's trick-
Ya…
Nissy wouldn't do this to him..
He'd see his tears of fear and pain and assure him…
That everything was..
Okay…
