Chapter Text
"Why am I doing this again?" B.C. sighs heavily.
"I already told you, B.C.! It's for a school project! So, stop complaining." Blossom demands, crossing her arms.
"Do you have to film it, though?"
"No, but I want to. Something for you to look back at in twenty years." The pink puff shrugs, hitting the record button.
"Now.." She begins, clearing her throat. "I need you to answer one question for me."
"Really? One? That's it? You could straight up write down my answer at that poin—"
"Do you think that you'll marry Boomer in the future?"
"..do I what?" B.C. asks, confused.
"You heard me!"
"Well, duh, I'm obviously gonna marry him! He's my boyfriend."
Blossom rolls her eyes.
"No! Expand on your answer! Do you think you'll last long enough? How.. marryable do you think Boomer is? What do you think will make him a good husband? Stuff like that!" Blossom groans angrily, tapping her foot impatiently.
The dark haired boy furrows his brows, trying to piece together what she had asked.
"Well.. of course I think we'll last long enough to get married.. I hope. Also, he's very marryable.. whatever that means. He'll be the perfect husband because he's one of the sweetest people I know! He makes me happy even if he doesn't realize it! Do you know how difficult that is?!"
"Yeah, yeah. Keep going." Blossom stares at the other. B.C. sighs heavily, looking down.
"Boomer is special. Not only would he be the perfect husband, he would probably be a great father. I've never met anyone so wonderful.. and he's truly one of the most precious people I've ever met in my life." B.C. answers softly, still staring intently at the ground.
"Wow, okay.. I didn't expect to hear that last part." Blossom clears her throat. "So.. I need a conclusion."
"Conclusion?"
"Yeah. Recap on what you said."
"Oh." B.C. clears his throat, looking directly into the camera.
"In conclusion, I do think I'll marry Boomer because he's the most special person in the universe."
"..wow." Blossom mumbles. "Okay, you're done."
"Wait, I am? I haven't even been here for three min—"
"If you don't leave, you'll be here for three hours." Blossom threatens, flashing a strained smile. B.C. sighs.
"Fine, fine." B.C. stands up. "Don't tell Boomer about this.."
"No promises." Blossom snickers before turning off the video camera.
