Work Text:
It was supposed to snow today. Blue’s rather disappointed, since it’s definitely cold enough outside to be snowing. Mother Nature just decided not to give them precipitation. This means that he has to deal with the frigid temps that he does not like with no compensation for it.
At least the skies are relatively clear and the sun is shining. He dislikes cloudy days even more than cold ones. He needs the sun to invigorate his bones and encourage him in whatever project he decides to work on that day. Not that he’s not working—he always has something to focus on—but he’d really like to be outside without having to pile on so many layers just to function. He’d rather not be waddling around out there like some sort of deformed penguin.
Yes. The cold makes his joints hurt, and the change in seasons and atmospheric pressure never feels nice, but he’s got things to do and he always adjusts soon enough.
He finishes another line of stitching, ties it off, and snips it. This piece should look nice, and it should be done soon. It will be done soon. Before midnight.
It’s ten PM, which does not give him a lot of time, but, hey, he’s known for moving fast. And there will be no stopping until he’s finished.
