Kei was never too fond of toys and the only toy that he ever liked was anything related to dinosaurs. When he went out with his now husband Tetsurou he showered him with gifts of anything related to dinosaurs. Of course at first he was shocked but later on he appreciated the Alpha for paying attention to details about him as all of the toys or things he brought him were minimal and very cute.
When he married Tetsurou right out of college Tetsurou promised him to always shower him with Dinosaurs stuff and it seems like he was also trying to do it with their son Kyoya. One time Tetsurou brought their son a toy car which their baby can ride. He won't have a problem if their baby can ride it immediately but their son is just eleven months old and it does not help that Tetsurou and his parents also buy their son a huge amount of toys which can't even fit in the room anymore.
They were at the mall buying new clothes for their son as he already grew out of his clothes and Kei really can't blame his son after all him and Tetsurou having a child and them being over 185 centimetre is to be expected of their baby.
"Kei look, isn't it cute?" Tetsurou showed him a cute black stuffed cat.
He sighed "Put it down Tetsu, he already has so many toys" He told his husband. His husband frowned at his words and he smelt a very sad pheromone from his husband which made him sighed internally.
"But Kei looks. Kyo seems to like it" He gave the toy to their sons. His son is currently strapped to his husband's chest using the baby carrier and his son who saw the toy, hugged it and coo at his husband indicating that he is happy with what his father gave him "See Kei, Kyo really loves it" He looked at his son who is is now happily playing with the cat and for him, to be honest he can never deny his son anything if it make him happy. He conceded and let Tetsurou buy the stuffed cat. His husband seemed pleased and pulled out his platinum express card to pay for the card.
It has been around 5 years since he married Tetsurou. Tetsurou made a promise when they wed that he will give him a good life and the family they will be making and true to his words the Alpha worked his ass off to provide him with a comfortable life. Before they married Tetsurou worked for as many part time jobs as he could so he could do the wedding using his own money and when he graduated college he worked in one of the biggest IT companies in the country and started working there with a sideline as well. Within those five years Tetsurou was able to save and later on build a Cybersecurity company and within the two and a half years the company is doing well in the industry.
They are currently looking around in the mall and Tetsurou buys just about anything he sees that he thinks will look cute for Kyo when he stumbles upon a baby walker. The walker was like a truck with bees, frogs and flowers for decoration. He kept staring at it and he was certain that his son would look adorable using it.
Tetsurou saw his husband looking at a baby walker and instantly he knew that his husband fell in love with the walker. He walked towards his husband and held his shoulder. "Do you like it?" Suddenly his husband looked at him with eyes sparkling "I do Tetsu. I can guarantee that Kyo would look great in the walker" His husband was never a spender considering that he gave him his own card. It makes him a little sad that his husband would not buy anything for himself as he was working hard to provide them with anything they want.
"Then you should buy it," He urge the Omega. The Omega seems reluctant since he smelt the anxiousness of his husband. He took his husbands hands and kissed it "Kei, you can buy. Another toy won't hurt" easing his husband.
Kei losing the Anxiousness bought the toy. After a few more hours of buying things they went home.
It was Saturday morning, exactly eight in the morning when Kei decided to assemble the walker. Tetsuro and Kyo are currently out with the other Dads and Babies in the park. it was like a routine with the Dads which includes Bokuto Koutarou with his Daughter with Keiji Natsuki, Ushijima Wakatoshi with son with Tadashi Kazuya, Sakusa Kiyoomi with his son with Atsumu Tamaki, Iwaizumi Hajime with his daughter with Tooru Haruhi. Since he does not want to work alone he called Keiji at his laptop and beside Keiji might pull an insight regarding on how to assemble the walker
"Hi," Keiji said. His laptop is on top of the centre table facing him with the box and the pieces of the walker "What are you up to so early in the morning?"
"I bought a walker for Kyo and I think it would look adorable" He smiled. He opened the instructions and started to read it.
Keiji saw the crunch up brows of his friend when reading "What happened? Why do you have that face?" He asked.
Kei looked at Keiji in the monitor and looked back at the instructions and immediately thanked himself when he called Keiji for support or in this case for help in assembling the Walker.
"Keiji" He said and explained his dilemma. Keiji seems to understand and asks him to take a picture of the instructions and send them to him so he can help. Kei did what Keiji asked and sent the instructions immediately. The two shed a full hour just to understand the instructions and since Kei is getting frustrated he assembled the walker with minimal understanding for the instructions and Keiji was impressed that Kei managed to assemble one part of the walker for another hour without the help of the instructions.
"I mean, like I'm just here wanting my Son to learn how to walk" Kei said frustratingly when another part of the walker collapsed when he inserted the Bee on the hole "How? Seriously, how the hell did they manage to sell millions of toys with these types of instructions?" Just a little more and Kei would literally scream. Kei knows that he is not stupid on the contrary, he was pretty smart as he got top marks at school and yet a freaking walker made him feel stupid.
"Kei, I think that the walker is much more trouble than it's worth," Keiji said, implying defeat with his voice.
"No!" Kei protested "I'm not letting this baby walker defeat me" Kei was concentrating and he did not hear Tetsurou come in with their son and just noticed when Keiji greeted them.
"Hey Tetsurou" Keiji Greeted.
"Hey Keiji" Tetsurou looked at his husband who was concentrating on putting a Bee in a whole "Hey babe" He greeted his Husband.
Kei looked at Tetsurou. "He's your son too Tetsu," Kei demanded. He stood up and took their son away from Tetsurou and inhaled the baby's scent and scented the Baby back making him feel better.
"Woah, what did I miss?" Tetsurou put his Hands up acting like he surrendered. Tetsurou looked at Keiji for a little bit of context.
"I think it's between you and the walker. Bye" Keiji said and cut off the video.
"Babe?" Tetsurou asked again. Kei now sitting on the couch kissing their son looked at him.
"You're a smart guy. Always handling codes and such. Now fix that thing because if not there will be blood" Kei said in a menacing voice. Tetsurou looked at the mess and the bits and pieces of the walker and he finally understood and went to his husband "Okay I will fix it so don't be mad" He kissed his husband on the temple and hugged him to ease his frustration and luckily it worked. He looked back at the mess and went to the floor to pick up the instructions and read it. After reading it Tetsurou had the same face as Kei when he first read the instructions and he looked at his husband
"Don't even look at me," Kei said and continued to play with their son.
Tetsurou scratch his neck and sighed Lets go
