Saying Renjun is busy is a big understatement. On top of going to his classes and then coming home to study, he’s also working part time. So yes, Renjun is busy. But he’s fine with that–if it was just about him not getting his full 8 hours of sleep or not being able to read the latest webtoon he’s been following. No, this goes deeper.
Renjun is too busy for his boyfriends.
Now, he probably has the sweetest boyfriends on this planet and sometimes he lays in bed at night, wrapped up in their arms, wondering what he did to deserve them. So they understand that he’s busy, but Renjun still catches the pout on Jeno’s face when he just gets home from his classes only to see Renjun with his own bag slung over his shoulder, ready to go to his. He catches the worried look Jaemin gives him when he’s off to his part time job, working the night shift because it pays more. He also feels the way Mark hugs him tighter against his body when he finally gets home at 6am. So yeah, they understand. But that doesn’t mean they don’t miss him and Renjun misses them too, so badly .

Renjun’s running late. He’s usually pretty good at getting up when his alarm goes off, but he could only hit snooze so many times until he realized that extra 5 minutes he wanted turned into a full 30 minutes. He nearly cries when he sees a packed lunch in the fridge with ‘ Renjunnie <3’ written on it. He makes a mental note to text Jaemin later and give him a big hug when he sees him, whenever that will be . They’re all busy with their own respective classes and jobs. Renjun just so happens to be the busiest sadly so catching one of them can be quite difficult.
Today turns out to be his lucky day because he nearly slams into a body as soon as the door is opened and he attempts to walk out. He feels big arms wrap around his waist, not because he was unsteady or nearly about to fall, nope these big arms just missed being around him and Renjun sighs as he leans into the body, trying to forget about the class he’s running late to.
“Hey,” Jeno whispers as he plants a kiss on top of Renjun's head. Renjun tightens his grip around him.
Fuck classes
“Hi,” Renjun smiles, cheek pressed against his chest.
“Going to class?” Jeno mutters as he gently rocks them back and forth.
“Mhm, but I don’t wanna,” Renjun sighs sadly. Jeno laughs and pulls back, lifting Renjun’s head with a hand gently under his chin.
“Go to class,” Jeno smiles, eyes turning into crescents. He leans in to peck Renjun’s lips when the older boy gives him a pout. He can tell Jeno doesn’t want to let go, but he does and wills himself to walk away instead of locking the door and keeping his cute boyfriend all to himself for the afternoon.
“Renjun?” Renjun turns around just as he’s about to walk out the door. “Let me know if you need me to go on a coffee run for you later, kay?” Renjun nods his head, a fond smile on his face.
“Love you.”
“Love you too.”

Renjun came home after his morning class and took a nap. As much as he would love to stay in bed all day, maybe cuddle or watch something with his boyfriends, he can’t because he has a shift today. So he gets up and manages to find the bathroom, successfully not tripping in the shower because he might be a sleepy clumsy mess (Jaemin’s words, not his) and dresses. When he comes out of the bathroom, he’s hit with a very pleasant surprise. He smells something delicious coming from the kitchen and smiles when he hears the clatter of pans.
“Jaem?” Renjun says as he pokes his head in the kitchen He nearly drops everything in his hands and runs into his boyfriend's arms when he sees that bright smile he’s missed so much, directed at him.
“Getting ready for work?” Jaemin asks as he finishes packing Renjun’s dinner.
“Yeah,” Renjun pouts. Jaemin pinches his cheeks as he hands him his food.
“Don’t work too hard, ok?” Jaemin says softly, knowing how exhausted Renjun is when he comes home from work sometimes.
Renjun nods his head. “Thanks for always making me food, I don’t know what I would do without you,” he smiles as he wraps his arms around Jaemin’s neck.
Jaemin grins as he leans forward to plant a kiss on his lips. “You would be a very hungry Renjunnie.”
Renjun giggles before he has to pull himself away, unless he wants to be late twice in one day. He starts heading for the door, dinner in hand which he knows has some cute note attached to it like it always does. Sometimes the note tells him not to work too hard or reminds him to drink plenty of water. Other times it just has a simple ‘I love you’ on it. Those are his favorites. Before he can actually leave he feels arms wrap around him from behind.
“I love you,” Jaemin whispers from behind him.
Renjun smiles as he leans back into the touch.
“I love you more.”

Sometimes when Renjun gets home from work so early in the morning, the bed is empty. Sometimes it’s cold and other times it’s slightly warm meaning that one of his boyfriends must have just left. Today, however, Renjun spots a body still snuggled up under the covers and he can’t hold himself back from jumping on the bed and wrapping around whoever it is that’s still under the covers. He hears a loud yawn before he sees the messy head of brown hair he missed so much.
“Renjun?” Mark asks, voice deep from having just woken up. Renjun hums to let him know that it is him, and then he’s crawling under the covers and letting Mark pull him against his chest. Renjun sighs happily as he gets all warm and cozy, nothing warms him up better than being wrapped in one of his boyfriend’s arms. “How was work?” Mark asks, still sleepy.
“Boring,” Renjun says with a frown. “I’m so much happier here.” He giggles as Mark starts peppering kisses on his neck.
“And I’m much happier with you here,” Mark says as he plants his last kiss on Renjun’s lips.
“Do you have to work today?” Renjun says with a pout as he looks up at his boyfriend, hoping that he won’t lose the warmth in a few minutes when Mark remembers he has to be somewhere.
Mark gives him a smile. “No, I don’t. We can stay in bed for as long as you want.”
Now those are the words Renjun loves to hear and he makes sure Mark keeps that promise by wrapping himself around his boyfriend so he can’t leave.
“I love you Jun,” Mark’s sleepy voice says in his ear.
“I love you Markie,” Renjun says as he buries himself in his boyfriend's cuddles.

Renjun’s not sure what time it is when he wakes up, but he feels cold. So when he opens his eyes and finds no Mark he sets on a quest to drag his boyfriend back to bed because Renjun misses him too much and needs more cuddle time. But when he walks into the living room to find Jeno and Jaemin on the couch, Jaemin’s head resting on Jeno’s shoulder as they whisper to each other, Renjun immediately forgets about everything.
“You guys are home?” Renjun asks, making his presence known. It’s rare for all of them to be home at the same time, but when it happens it’s the best thing Renjun could have ever asked for.
Jaemin grins. “Come here,” he says as he makes room for Renjun to squeeze in between. them. Renjun doesn’t hesitate. As soon as he sits down, arms are instantly wrapping around him.
“Sleep well?” Jeno says as he plants a kiss on his lips.
“Yeah,” Renjun grins. “Well I was until I woke up all cold because Mark was gone,” Renjun pouts, but not even a second later he feels Jaemin pressing into his side and planting kisses all over him.
“Was our baby cold? We can warm you up!” Renjun giggles at the feeling of Jaemin pressing kisses all over his cheek.
Just then they hear the door open, and Mark walks in with a stack of pizza boxes in his hands. He smiles when he sees Renjun is awake, but that smile falls when he sees the glare Renjun is giving him. He quickly sets down the pizza and kneels in front of Renjun, cupping his cheeks.
“What’s wrong Jun?” Mark frowns.
“You left and I got cold,” Renjun pouts, but he leans into Mark’s touch, proving that he’s actually not angry and just craves the touch of his boyfriend.
Jaemin tsks from beside him. “Really Mark? You’re letting our Renjunnie get cold.” He clings to Renjun’s side, keeping his promise that he can warm up the older boy.
Mark sends him a glare, “You told me I had to get the food since I was the last one with Renjun!”
Jeno laughs and pulls Mark into his lap, letting his chin rest on his shoulder. “They’re messing with you Mark, thank you for getting the food.” Jeno plants a kiss on his lips and smiles when Mark melts into it.
Renjun feels like he’s dreaming. It’s been so long since he’s been alone with all of them and he’s just waiting for something to interrupt their time together. He pulls out his phone, pulling up his calendar to see when exactly he has to leave this paradise that is being home with all of his boyfriends. He feels eyes on him as he does it.
When he clicks on the date, he’s surprised to see only one thing scheduled for today.

He looks up to see all of them looking at him with a smile.
“Do you guys-”
“Nope,” Jaemin is the first to speak up. “We cleared our schedules because we knew this was your next free day,” he says as he rests his head on Renjun’s shoulder.
“You have us all day,” Jeno smiles, grabbing his hand and rubbing small circles into his palm.
“We were thinking of staying in and having a movie night with lots of pizza,” Mark grins as he plants a kiss on his lips.
Renjun smiles.
“It’s perfect.”
