The moon shined brighter than the last tonight, or it was the blood lost talking. Either way, it was beautiful Chuuya couldn't have asked for a better view as he took his last breath.
He was dying, corruption consuming him inside out. He knew it was coming. Just that it was so soon enemies all but returned to dust. And this time dazai wasn't here to ease him with his ability, he should've seen it coming. From the smirk, his boss had on his face before giving him the mission. That he wasn't coming back after it.
The bittersweet essence of death embraced him once more the cool pressure just shy to touch his skin giving a twisted sort of comfort.
And as the void was going to envelop him as before a familiar voice rang out from somewhere to the side of him, the voice was relaxing, "CHUUYA!" the voice grew closer the panic and fear in the voice grew the closer it came.
---
"Chuuya... You bad dog.. I was supposed to be the first one to die." Eyes glossed over hand reached out just hovering near the body.
"Please... You can't leave me here as well.." A sob choked out as the heavyweight in dazai's chest grew, whether from grief or guilt. All that he thought was. 'this was my fault.' And 'If I had just ran faster, He would've still been here.'
The two bodies one warm, one cold were lost to the chaos in the area.
As destruction was once again crowned king, and chaos danced along to their aged song.
In a crater once again made, a clone opened its eyes, and the cycle shall continue as destruction cannot rest either shall its vessel.
