Chapter Text
"Claiming" ~ the act of possessing a person by agreement of the one(s) who are doing the claiming by physical touch and either saying mine or ours. A mark of some kind will then appear on all the parties involved.
Cassius Valentine knew he was in trouble the second he saw those red exclamation marks appear on the screen, so he quickly did what he needed to shut everything down before slamming the top shut of his laptop. He sat there for a second trying to wrap his mind around what just occurred while running his hands through his hair anxiously. He finally jumped to his feet, after taking a deep breath, collecting his things and throwing the old raggedy cloak on that was used to hide his wings along with his horns before checking to see if the coast was clear so he could safely leave his hiding place. It has become way to dangerous to stay there any longer considering he just tried to hack the database of the top three supervillains in the city and made a mistake while doing so and now it was only a matter of time before they ended up finding him. He finally stepped out into the street and walked along with his head down, but still being super careful that he didn't run into anyone. He forced himself to walk slowly and not break into a run even though he wanted to, but he really didn't want to bring any undue attention to himself.
As he walked past a food vendor he quickly snatched something from it without breaking stride in the slightest and it wasn't until he was a good distance away before eating. He was trying to figure out how he was gonna stay on the down low and not get caught by the villains because it would not turn out well since he did try to hack them, but considering the three of them were considered the top three most dangerous supervillains as well as being vampires it isn't going to be long before they caught up with him. For the rest of the day he just wandered while looking for somewhere to hunker down for the night while also avoiding people at the same time. He eventually found a place that seemed like a good place even though it was a building that was open to the sky, but it also had a lot of places to hide scattered about. He settled down in between two tall rocks that were leaning against each other like a tent because he was way to tired to find something else. He curls up after arranging his things in a way that would be the easiest to grab if he needed to get out of there quickly before falling asleep. The morning rolls around and he wakes up still tired, but knowing that he should leave as quickly as possible makes him get up and grab his stuff while ducking out of the place that he was asleep in.
He should've had his guard up because he definitely wasn't expecting to come face to face with none other than Technoblade, Philza, and Dream also known as the top three most dangerous supervillains when he stood up. Nobody said anything for a couple minutes as Cassius was trying to come to terms with the fact that they were standing in front of him and they were just studying him. Finally Cassius sighs and swings his backpack to the ground before glancing up to them. "Well that was fast" he said addressing them.
"Were you really expecting it for it to take long before we found you?" Dream said in a curious manner.
"I was hoping for at least a couple days, but my bad for thinking that" Cassius snapped.
"This one has some nerve talking like that. Wouldn't you say Phil?" Technoblade said while eyeing Cassius.
"That he does Techno" Phil replied.
"Look you guys. As much as I would love to stand here and have a conversation I very much need to get going" Cassius spoke as he undid his cloak revealing his wings before bunching it up and stuffing it in the backpack. He picked up the backpack and settled it around his back after stretching his wings out to make sure that there okay to fly. He grinned at them and then suddenly went to launch himself into the air to get away from them, but things quickly got ugly as Technoblade grabbed his backpack in order to pull him into his chest so he couldn't move. Technoblade shifted his grip just enough to where one of his hands was around Cassius's wrists ignoring the struggle that was happening. Both Phil and Dream stepped forward to also grab the same wrist that Techno was holding, which immediately caused Cassius to struggle harder cause he knew what was coming. "Guys. Come on. Please don't" he begged trying to break their hold to no avail.
"You should've thought about that before hacking us" Techno growled from behind him.
"That's right and even though that it was impressive that you got as far as you did there still needs to be some kind of punishment" Dream piped up.
"Everything will be fine little one. Just relax" Phil said in a crooning manner. Cassius wasn't about to relax by any means, but before he could tap into his power or say anything in response all three simultaneously spoke at the same time sealing his fate
"Ours"
For a second nothing happened and then suddenly a bright light surrounded the four of them momentarily blinding them when it suddenly vanished. At once Phil and Dream stepped back letting go of Cassius's wrist. Techno also released him completely and stepped away which caused him to lose balance for a second, but he quickly steadied himself. He just so happened to be looking at the ground when he caught his balance that he failed to notice the look between Phil and Techno, but what he did notice was the sudden feeling of being picked up. He yelped in surprise as his feet was no longer touching the ground and then he was looking into the eyes of Techno who was now carrying him as a baby. "Hey. Put me down" he said glaring at Techno. He was straight up ignored and then something weird happened to where he was suddenly losing consciousness. Right before he completely blacked out he noticed the band that was around his wrist in the same place that was grabbed by Techno, Dream, and Phil. The brief second that he saw it he thought that it looked like a dragon. As the blackness fully took over there was only one thought on his mind: I have now been "claimed."
