The sun's ray briefly peeked through the beige courtains. It didn't reach the women eyes to wake them up. But the alarm set to beep at 9AM woke them.
Emilia was the first one to wake up. They turned off the alarm and turned again to face their lover. Sarah clearly continued to sleep.
He shaked his lover softly. It didn't worked. He shaked a little bit more harder. It also didn't worked. Wow, Sarah's really having a nice dream. Emilia decided not being too nice this time. He shaked his girlfriend almost violently, and finally, it worked.
"Woah, Emmy, do you want to shake my brain off?" said Sarah, with a smirk on it's face.
"It ain't my fault you don't wanna wake up." said Emilia, also with a smirk on their face.
"We could, y'know, go back to sleep and stay like this for the rest of the day..."
"Aw, babe, I wanna do this too, but we have work tomorrow."
"Ugh, fine... Then let's make sum' breakfast, huh?"
"Yeah, sure!" one of Emilia's favorite activities with Sarah was making breakfast.
Both got up from their messy bed and went to the bathroom to brush their teeth.
When they got done, Sarah made the bed and Emilia took a quick shower.
As Emilia went back to the bedroom to dress up, Sarah couldn't stop staring at it's partner. That caught the partner's attention. "Wow, you don't even try to hide all that staring!" spoke Emilia, with a light flush in her face.
"It's because you're so beautiful, I can't take my eyes off you, seriously." His flush deepened at the praise. Sarah thought he's pretty, and he is, indeed. But Emilia didn't thought the same, unfortunately.
They walked together into the kitchen. Sarah made the coffee and Emmy made their breakfast: scrambled eggs (and bacon only for Sarah, 'cause Emmy was vegetarian himself.)
As they sat on the dinner table and drank the coffee, Emmy extented her arm to grab Sarah's hand, and said:
"I'm so lucky to have you in my life. I love you."
"I'm lucky as well. I love you too."
