To Deku,
Never in a million years did I think I’d be writing a letter to someone.. especially not you, damn nerd. But your girlfriend thought it’d be a good way to cope with you leaving.
Seems ironic, doesn’t it? Since you left us one before you disappeared.. and you even had the fucking nerve to thank me for saving you? If I’d saved you, you’d be here instead of trying to be the number one hero out there.
And you know what’s the shittiest part in all this? Even after All Might told us to help each other out, you still think you’re better than me. That must be why you didn’t even consider taking me with you. Even after everything.. You left before I could say sorry.
I’m sorry, Deku. For saying what I said that day in school.. For never accepting your fucking hand when you wanted to help.
Do you honestly think a thank you note is enough?
You don’t get to say goodbye before I get the chance to say all this to your face. I won’t live with this guilt as a future greatest hero.
So wherever you are, you better be prepared to give it all you’ve got, because I’m bringing you home… Izuku.
