Work Text:
Danny hadn't been expecting the knocking on his door at 8pm on a Sunday night. Who would be? Ironically, Danny was supposed to be prepared for everything. But this was not in the training manual.
With a sigh, he opened the door, and glared at the dark haired girl standing on his front porch.
"I need your help."
"Fuck off," he grumbled, and he slammed the door in her face, before turning around to see her standing in his hallway, with her arms crossed.
"You know, it's very rude to slam the door in someones face Danny." She told him. Danny just sighed and shoved past her as he went back to his living room.
"And breaking and entering is illegal, now get out of my house Valerie." He told her. She scoffed and followed him.
"Oh come on, what did I ever do to you?"
Danny choked on his water. "What did you ever do to me? Val, you tried to kill me!"
"Actually, that was a hitman," she clarified.
"I'm sorry, but how did you even find one?"
"Murder for hire is surprisingly cheap."
