The moonlight glistened off of freshly dewed green grass outside of Kanto regions new eevee sanctuary. Andi, Young woman in her early thirties with blonde hair pulled back into a pony tail and shaved on both sides and the back, grey blue eyes and clothed in a black cold shoulder crop top, a pair of black skinny jeans with black suspenders dangling down and a pair of purple sneakers, whose the sanctuary’s owner and eevee rescuer was up late with one of the sanctuary’s latest arrivals, a Sylvyon that had been abandoned by its trainer. Whom, according to translations from Andi’s Espeon (who had the telepathy ability) was abandoned for not evolving into an espeon or umbreon. The poor sylveon loved its trainer so dearly that being abandoned left it traumatized. It had woken up crying from a flash back dream. Andi had it inside her office so she was quickly able to go to its side and comfort it.
The sanctuary itself was a beautiful park, complete with a river and a large sized pond, many flowers and trees of varying species thrived inside this beautiful glass domed park. Andi’s office and research lab were also inside the park. A smaller 2 story 6 room log home. The research lab was in the basement and was equipped with the latest in tech. The sanctuary was currently home to 30 different eevee’s and its evolutions. Andi’s research team and pokemon doctors had already gone home for the evening so that left Andi and espeon in her office with the sylveon. The rest of Andi’s team (which was a full set of eevelutions) were somewhere out in the park.
All was quiet until the anti theft alarm started blaring. Andi quickly got up, and ran to her computer to check out surveillance around the park. The break in had happened on the south end, Andi’s log home was south west.
“Espeon, Stay here with Sylveon, remember the pokemon psychology I taught you.” The espeon nodded and Andi scrambled out the door into the park hoping to find one of her team mates on the way.
“Faster Aerodactyl!” Boba ordered the aerodactyl he was riding on in the sky. He rummaged through his shoulder bag and pulled out a pair of beat up binoculars. “Kirff! They managed to get to their target.” Boba maneuvered aerodactyl to get lower to the ground. Which his partner immediately obeyed. With one swift hand movement, Boba released a pokeball from his belt. “Now Houndoom! Go! Bring these hunters down!” He threw houndooms pokeball and houndoom lept from the red light and landed on the dewy grass, swiftly running in the direction of the eevee sanctuary.
Andi just made it to where the break in had occurred just as 4 pokemon hunters were emerging from the billowing smoke. Jolteon and Flareon were the first of Andi’s team to make it to Andi’s side.
“Well lookit what we got here boys, the owner of this here fine establishment. We’re gonna take all the pokemon here and fetch a nice paycheck from selling them all!” A stout but evil looking man with a full beard and black hair, dressed in a cowboy hat and a khaki vest and pants and boots boomed at Andi. The others hunters laughed behind him. Before the first hunter could send out the order for his men to scatter, a Houndoom lept from out of nowhere and bit down on the arm of the stout hunter dragging him to the ground. It was wearing a collar with a symbol Andi had never seen before, a wheat grass down the middle of a green ring with a red droplet above it and a red F to the bottom of it. Andi may have never seen it, but apparently the pokemon hunters had.
“Crap! That’s Fett’s doom! Let’s get out of here!.” Before the others could run, a vine whip collected all of them together and dragged them to the ground. “Ivysaur!” an ivysaur walked out of the bushes, still holding the pokemon hunters together. An aerodactyl screeched just above Andi’s head, as Andi went to look up, an older handsome looking gentleman landed down in the dewy grass. He was bald, warmly tanned skin that was scarred in various places. As he stood up, Andi took in his face. A scar ran down the bridge of his nose from his forehead, he had soft brown eyes and some minor wrinkling going on that showed he smiled and frowned a lot. “Ivysaur, Houndoom, good work.” He spoke to his partners in a professional but praising manner. He wore an emerald green sports jacket that had the same symbol that was on houndooms collar, embroidered on the right side of his chest, underneath was a plain black shirt, black jeans and brown hiking boots, around his neck was a necklace that had a pendant that looked like it was from the Alola region. Four pokeballs were prominently displayed on his belt. And he had a tan shoulder bag slung over his shoulder. He spoke with a honeyed gravelly accent that Andi was not familiar with. The stout hunter began yelping in pain and hyperventilating. “Fett! Fett! I’ll pay you double what they’re paying you to bring us in.” he pleaded with the man. Boba glared over at the stout hunter whose arm was still locked in houndooms teeth. “Filth like you has no place in this world.” Boba pulled out four sets of hand cuffs and walked over to the stout hunter, grabbing his arm roughly and cuffing his one hand. Houndoom released the mans arm, which was bleeding from the bite and cuffed the other hand behind the mans back. He did the same with the other hunters. Ivysaur and Houndoom stood guard over the four defeated pokemon hunters. Boba turned to Andi. The rest of andi’s team, sylveon, vaporeon, umbreon, glaceon, leafeon and an eevee that wore a carved everstone around its neck, made their way to andi’s side. Andi stood there, looking at this beautiful man bewildered.
His voice, which was hard, angry and threatening to the stout pokemon hunter, softened as he spoke to Andi. “You must be the owner. I am Boba Fett, a bounty hunter. Did they take any of the pokemon?”
Andi took a deep breath and shook her head. “N-no. I got here just as they were about to enter, then your houndoom and ivysaur took them down. I don’t think they had time to snatch any….unless there were more of them? I didn’t see any on our surveillance cams.”
“Good. I’ll get in touch with Officer Jenny to come pick this filth up.” Boba glared once again at the group of cuffed hunters, Ivysaur and Houndoom growled at the hunters as if on cue. He turned back to Andi.
“Do you have insurance?”
“Y-yes.”
“Very good, if you’ll excuse me.” He pulled out his smart phone and called up officer jenny. While he was on the phone, Andi looked at him bewildered and amazed. His aura was very powerful. As Andi watched him she suddenly collapsed and had a psychic vision. Her and Boba Fett walking hand in hand down the streets of vermillion city, smiling at eachother. Before she hit the ground, all her pokemon exclaimed in alarm and sylveons ribbons caught her and gently lowered her to the ground. Boba heard the exclamations and quickly dropped his phone and rushed over to Andi, sitting her up right. Andi held her head, that vision left her with a powerful headache and feeling very woozy, she leaned into Boba. “Are you alright princess?” Boba's voice was laced with concern, Andi’s pokemon gathered around the two of them, softly chattering amongest themselves. Andi couldn't respond, all her energy was being used to keep herself from blacking out. But it was for naught, she fell unconscious. From out of the bushes Espeon walked, padding over to the group. |Hush now everyone, it was just a vision.| The pokemon quieted down and Bobas brows furrowed in confusion, he looked over at the espeon. “Did you just talk?” |Telepathically, yes.| Bobas dark brows raised in surprise “Now I’ve seen it all.” |We can deal with the shock and questions later, are you strong enough to carry her back to the cabin?| Espeons purple eyes pierced into Boba Fett, who recognized he was in the presence of a very powerful Pokemon. “Yes, But I must deliver this filth to officer Jenny, otherwise I don’t get paid.” | I will deal with Officer Jenny, she knows us quite well here at the sanctuary.| Espeon turned its attention to its friends |Go with Boba Fett and Andi, make sure Andi gets her meds.| The Pokemon nodded and Espon padded through the hole the hunters left. Boba picked Andi up princess style and turned to his pokemon, Aerodactyl had joined Ivysaur and Houndoom. “Make sure this filth doesn’t escape, or get their hands on that espeon.” Boba’s team shouted in acknowledgement and went back to glaring at the hunters. Sirens began approaching in the distance as Boba followed Andi’s team. Sylveon wrapped its ribbons around andi’s exposed wrist as they walked. Boba took in the natural beauty of the park, watching his surroundings as various eevee’s and their evolutions peered up from their hiding places, watching him. When they got to the cabins door, sylveon let go of andi’s wrist and opened the door for the group to walk inside. They walked into a cozy, homey livingroom, there was a fireplace and comfortable looking furniture. Boba laid the now unconscious Andi on the couch closest to the fireplace and stepped back, observing the pokemon and Andi. Sylveon disappeared into a door next to the fireplace, which from what little Boba could see, was the kitchen. There was a stack of wood next to the fireplace, flareon walked up to it and began taking logs from it and placing them in the fireplace. Once it was satisfied that there were enough logs, it spat an ember onto the logs, which caught quickly and began burning, warming up the living room, making it that much more cozy.
Glaceon hopped up onto Andi’s chest and laid down on her, resting its tail on her forehead. The other pokemon took up various spots on the furniture, looking concerned in Andi’s direction. Eevee, the one with the carved everstone, disappeared into another doorway, that led into a hallway with stairs. Boba heard gentle clattering in the kitchen and went to investigate. Upon opening the door, he found Sylveon using it's ribbons to pour tea into two mugs. Two medicine bottles rested on the counter next to the stove. Sylveon then brought over a mug of tea to Boba, who took it graciously. “Would you like me to take the medicine to her?” he offered. The sylveon looked him over for a moment, then smiled and nodded, taking the other mug into its ribbons and walking towards the kitchen door. Boba grabbed up the two medicine bottles, looking them over for the correct dosage. One bottle was Anti nausea and the other was a powerful painkiller. One pill of each, as needed, every 4 hours, the instructions said. He looked up from the bottles to see sylveon patiently waiting at the door, looking at him curiously. He smiled apologetically and the two of them walked out into the living room. Sylveon gently lowered the mug of hot tea onto the coffee table in front of the couch that was Andi was laying on. Glaceon looked up once the mug was placed and shot a stream of cold air towards the tea, cooling it down enough to drink. Leafeon got up from the place it was sitting at and shot a razor leaf at the light switch, switching the lights off, so the only light in the room was from the fireplace. Glaceon and Sylveon began to gently attempt to wake Andi up, it took a few tries, but Andi finally roused. “Good morning princess, we brought you meds and tea.” Boba spoke gently. Andi propped herself up, holding her hand to her head. She spoke quietly. “Thank you.”
“Do you want me to get the dosage out?” Boba asked, motioning to the pill bottles, setting his mug of tea on the coffee table as well. Andi nodded. He shook the correct dosage from the bottles and handed it to Andi, their hands brushed against each other. Boba couldn’t see well in the firelight, but he swore, he saw Andi’s cheeks turn red. He grabbed the cooler mug of tea and held it out to her as she attemtped to sit up enough to take the pills. She did manage to do so. Before either of them could say anything to eachother, there was a gentle knock at the front door of the cabin. Boba walked over to the door, peeking through the peep hole to see Officer Jenny, Espeon, His houndoom, ivysaur and Areodactyl. He opened the door and Jenny tipped her hat in a greeting and whispered “Did she get her meds?” Boba nodded. “Good, Espeon explained everything, the hunters are being loaded up as we speak, payment has already been transferred to your account. I still need an official statement from you and Andi for the report. I’ll get yours first and you can be on your way. I’ll get Andi’s tomorrow once her symptoms wear off.” Espeon slipped passed Boba and quietly began chatting with the rest of Andi’s pokemon. Boba stepped outside and closed the door. Returning his pokemon to their pokeballs, praising them for their good work. He gave his official statement to Jenny, and turned to leave, but something was nagging at him to stay and make sure Andi was alright. “Officer,” he turned to Jenny who looked at him quizzickly. “I think I’ll stay, to make sure Andi is okay.”
Jenny smiled. “You’ll need to take that up with espeon.” Jenny walked pass Boba and out of sight. Leaving him standing in front of the cabin. He felt something he hadn’t felt in a while. Nervous. He took a deep breath and opened the cabin door and walked in.
