Nile stopped and looked at the fridge door, where there was hanging a drawing.
Nile: “Which kid made that?”
Nile was referring to Joe who had been spending time with a bunch of kids around the corner trying to teach them how to draw.
Joe: “That one is from Nicky and it deserves a spot on the fridge because that is a masterpiece.”
Nile sarcastic: “I don’t know if I would call that doodle a masterpiece!!”
Joe looked very serious at Nile: “Listen, young lady, I know my art and when I say it is a masterpiece, it’s a masterpiece.”
Nile: “Fine if you say so. You’re after all the last one I would ever start a discussion about art with.”
