Quidditch robes! Ginny starts tying her hair up after one too many hair pulling moments. I like the idea of broom related sports being the only time robes are split into shirts and trousers (skirt trousers)
I think it would be REALLY funny if the charms that make the buttons shut happen when the person touches the ground like. imagine ,,, you have to hover in the air to stop your trousers from snapping shut. ginny being like. CENTURIES!!! YOU HAVE HAD CENTURIES TO PERFECT THE SNAP BUTTONS SHUT CHARMS FOR QUIDDITCH ROBES!!! AND THE BEST YOU COULD DO IS WHEN TOUCHING THE GROUND THESE BUTTONS SNAP????
lets just say professionals get very good at getting off brooms with two feet. I like to think there was at least one occasion, when ginny first got her quidditch robes, she tries to get off with one foot at at a time and the buttons snap shut with her still on the broom. snap. she is TRAPPED
Moving embroidery! I like the idea of pureblood students having family associated animals that are often prancing around the bottom of robes or up sleeves and the like
Layers! layering robes...shifts and corsets and bustiers and underskirts.. I like to think that muggle born students just put like, tshirts and shorts on under (if they realise they need anything other than underwear in the first place! like, a shift isn't going to be on your hogwarts letter! the clothing shops might just assume a student already has that stuff!) which leads to a slightly different shape, and also fun moments where an older halfblood or muggleborn student might just lounge around in the underskirt and a tshirt just because it's comfy. imagine that the cats on cho's robe here are stretching and then running around the end of the robes
Sleeves that can be folded up or pinned up! so the fancy robes can be kept out of the way during meals or potions or sports. Older students might mess around with positions, maybe pinning the flowing sections up so the inner colours show.
A first year Hermione with all the bells and whistles (before she learns that the hats and the coats aren't considered cool :( )
