Sukuna's Dry Skin

Summary:

I found this in my notes unfinished so I finished it while hiding from people at a family reunion

Not to mention I was having a terrible allergic reaction while that was happening which might explain the itchy skin thing

Notes:

God I'm fucking tired tell me if I missed any tags goodbye

Work Text:

Honestly, Sukuna shouldn't feel this way, he's the King of Curses for Christ's sake! Despite that fact, which he's drilled into his head repeatedly for the longest time, he still has this issue. His skin, it's too damn sensitive.

This isn't something he can blame on his dithering vessel either, as much as he'd love to. No, his skin has been like this since the early days of his reign.

Do curses usually have sensitive skin, or is this some disgusting piece of humanity that's still clinging onto him like a scab not yet ready to pick off?

He could often feel the seasons changing before they actually did, causing rashes and uncomfortable irritated skin on his formidable marked body.

Back when he was the undisputed King of Curses, and wasn't trapped in the brat dubbed Itadori Yuuji's body, he would simply soak in hot springs to rejuvenate the cursed flesh. Curses should be immune to this stuff, though Sukuna's running theory produced from too much spare time was that he himself held so much cursed energy that even his full form as a curse couldn't contain it properly, which then caused the 'skin' to be sensitive as it was constantly bursting at the seems.

It used to be more bearable, Sukuna used to have access to all the best things to fix the dry skin, but now trapped without any of it the lack of moisture (minus pools of blood, but that isn't good for skin, just aesthetic) was causing him to go crazy. Or as crazy as he could be at this point, he may be pushing on the boundaries of 'crazy' to more of a 'Bat shit insane'.

The curse was almost tempted to force Yuuji to swallow a bottle of oil, or some of that weird hydrocorti-something or other the voodoo girl constantly ranted about.

Was this his punishment for mass murder? He truly hoped not, honestly he'd take flames and eternal torture over the urge to rip his own limbs off.

He needed those limbs! He was already down a set of arms. And a second mouth now that he mentions it. Also where were his muscles? Yuuji's body was small, and weak, and not worthy for one who could ravage the whole world if he wanted, humans and curses alike are scared of him, his form should evoke fear! But no, he had to trapped in a teenage shrimp's body AND have itchy skin on top of it.

Does Yuuji even have to deal with this too? Could he get some sort of solace by knowing Yuuji was suffering too? God, he hoped so, he loves watching the kid writhe, whether in pain, or the mind boggling uncomfortability of dry ass skin.

After a quick check by lightly opening one of the eyes he had on the brat's face he could confirm, Yuuji had no such issue, his arm's skin was smooth, unblemished, and not the least bit red and angry. A shame, seeing the childish Sorcerer in training scratch at his arms with no luck would've made him feel infinitely better.

Speaking of infinity, it appears that Yuuji was in class with the horrendous Gojo Satoru. How that man was even allowed to be within a 10 meter distance of children was beyond the king's wisdom, yet there he was, poisoning the youth with nonsense. Sukuna was the king of Curses and was 85% sure children would be less traumatized learning from him than learning from Gojo.

At some points he feels like Gojo would be a better Curse than him, not because of strength, but because he was so damn good at creating terrible situations with equally terrible outcomes.

Now Sukuna knew Gojo was also without dry skin. The bastard looked like his skin was glowing 24/7 and he was rich enough he could bathe in skin product every day without putting a dent in his fortune. Was the Curse jealous? Probably. Would he admit it? Hell no.

He was a KING. A GOD COMPARED TO THE HUMANS SURROUNDING HIM!!!!

...And here was getting pissy over Gojo Satoru being sexy.

No, wait he had to rethink that, that sounds awful. Gojo was... Lucious???? No that was also bad. Gojo was...

Undeniably well taken care of.

Yet despite his level of obvious shelteredness, he was a trashy rat bastard.

Maybe Sukuna felt a bit better knowing his skin may be dry, but he wasn't a whining garbage man like Gojo.
