Chapter Text

I'd always wish for more, I'd always wish we could meet again.

"You've put your head into a cloud,"

Kaminari Denki is a well-known name among those of UA's class 2-A, as well as those of high standing in the League of Villians. However, no one knows the name-- and the person it belongs to, better than UA traitor and League of Villains spy, Shinsou Hitoshi.

Kaminari was an average hero-in-training. He didn't have the best test scores but excelled in charisma and social-based activities. He was one of those who brought light to the lives of his classmates, even if he did have some perverted tendencies.

He had slightly more than average looks. A base of tan skin, a lean build, and around average height left the more extraordinary features to be his golden blonde hair with an interesting lightning bolt, and cadmium yellow eyes.

His fashion sense before attending UA could be described as a mix of 90s and 00s mom. However, after he entered UA and met his crush-- and ex-boyfriend, Shinsou Hitoshi, he began to dress in a more light academia aesthetic, losing some of his vibrance.

Slowly the once bright and outgoing Kaminari began to dull, quieting until there was nothing left.

Some may say it was like watching a painting lose its saturation as it's exposed to the harsh rays of the sun. While others may say it was a tragedy akin to that of Romeo and Juliet. Everyone has their own opinion when it comes to stories, even more so when it's tales of others' lives.

May I ask you to read  Kaminari's tale and tell me what your opinion is? Was he a victim of time, or the prey of deception?

...

Kaminari sat up from his hunched position, cracking his back while stretching his arms in front of him. He had been sitting at the small coffee shop for nearly three hours without getting up.

Taking a sip from his now cold, old macchiato, his eyes caught onto a poof of purple. A poof that he was very familiar with and could recognize by heart. A poof that belonged to a pale man that looked to be in desperate need of sleep. A poof that had been plaguing Kaminari's dreams, night and day, for months.

Kaminari couldn't help but stare, thoughts of "what is he doing here," "I should tell someone," and "he looks nice," running through his head.

The man was sitting at one of the few tables that weren't reached by the sunlight streaming through the windows. He was tucked away in a corner, where one normally wouldn't be noticed, especially not from outside the shop.

His purple hair was laying flat, some of it covering his face, further hiding him from view. However, Kaminari would know that hair anywhere. Especially when it was paired with those indigo eyes.

Eyes that were staring right back at Kaminari.

Kaminari quickly whipped his head away when he realized he was caught staring. Chewing on his lip nervously, he started to pack up his belongings.

'Crap. Crap! I need to leave! I cannot be caught with him!'

Glancing around once more when he finished, he noticed that the man was still watching him. Anxiously, he grabbed his stuff and headed for the door. Shouting a quick "have a good day," to the staff as he exited, he considered going back to the UA dorms.

'Bakubro and Kiribro are probably still going with their gym contest, Sebro went home to visit his family for the weekend, and Mina said she needed to go shopping to help Hagakure with something...'

A cool breeze ruffled his clothes as he walked down the street blindly. As he contemplated what he should do for the rest of the day, the man in the coffee shop fell to the back of his mind.

Soon, a familiar park came into view. As a temporary solution to his dilemma, he sat on the swings.

He pulled out his earbuds and phone, plugging them in, before selecting shuffle and letting the phone fall back into his pocket. As the melody to Love Talk City by Blue Otis began to play, Kaminari let the world fade away and began to swing.

A constant motion of backward and forward, backward and forward, backward and forward, until his mind was pleasantly blank, with only the song and rhythm occupying his thoughts.

An all too familiar park, which housed the temporary solution to his problems.

...

"As soon as I'm up I run to you, you got me skipping meals," Kaminari sang quietly. He had calmed his swinging from a rapid set of movements to gentle swishing.

"I do remember you doing that," a deep voice said from behind him, causing Kaminari to leap off the swing. Quickly turning around, Kaminari's breath caught in his throat as he came face to face with the man from the coffee shop.

"W-what?" Kaminari stuttered as his mind was trying to process the situation he found himself in.

"I know it's been a while, but to think you've forgotten me already. I'm a little heart, sweetheart." The man, also known as Shinsou Hitoshi, Kaminari's ex-boyfriend, and the UA traitor, teased. A smirk on his face as he watched the emotions rushing across Kaminari's.

From confusion to fear, then relief, to anger, and back to fear. Kaminari wasn't quite sure what to do. Standing in front of him was the man who betrayed him and his friends, but also his first love.

He wanted to be enraged, Hitoshi has done so much to him, to his friends, to the world he so loves, yet he couldn't. Looking at him, all he would feel was hurt, heartbreak, longing, and love. Love, the cursed emotion that he couldn't move on from.

No matter how much he tried, he just couldn't, because no matter what he did, Hitoshi would always be his first love, and would mean so much to him.

"Wh-why are you here?" Kaminari asked with a shaking voice. No matter how much he couldn't hate him, that didn't mean he wasn't afraid of him.

"Can't I just stop by to see how you've been?" Shinsou questioned, his smirk widening at seeing Kaminari in such a state. "How's the school holding up? Aizawa still kicking?"

Kaminari couldn't form a response, taken aback at the audacity of the questions. Before he could even really try, Shinsou continued.

"He must be on sick leave, haven't heard of him being around much, lately. Although, All Might doesn't seem to be doing that great of a job filling in, can't even teach for more than three hours!" He laughed.

Kaminari paled as Shinsou talked. 'How does he know that?! Only those at UA were supposed to of heard about the teacher switch! There should be no way!'

"How?" Kaminari whispered.

"Oh, darling, the Leauge wouldn't have just one measly spy to get information," Shinsou stated as he stepped closer to Kaminari, causing him to back up, "that wouldn't useful. What if one of them got exposed, oh wait, that already happened."

"M-more?!" As Shinsou walked forwards, Kaminari continued to walk back until he ran into something.

"looking around you can't find your way out."

I'd always be in love with a criminal.
