9:00 PM
It was bedtime for Mari. Her parents were taking her up to her room to tuck her in.
"Aww! I want to watch TV! That show was interesting!"
"Well you can watch it in the morning. It's time for bed" Mari's parents take her up to her room. They lay her down and tuck her in.
Sunny was sleeping soundly in his crib. All peaceful and dreaming of whatever babies dream about. While Mari felt uneasy. "Mommy.. will the animatronics get me in my sleep?" "No they won't honey. They're just harmless robots." "But they look scary!" Mari's Father begins reassure Mari "They're just robots meant for entertainment. They won't hurt you. I promise."
One thing is.. Mari has been developing a fear of human-like figures. Like animatronics. Automatonophobia was the term for it.
As they tucked her. They say their usual words before she goes to sleep.
"Goodnight. Sleep tight and don't let the bedbugs bite."
Mari's mother gives her a kiss on the forehead and she leaves the room along with her father. They turn off the lights before leaving.
Her father's word repeated in her head.
"They're just robots meant for entertainment. They won't hurt you."
Mari then falls asleep.
"Maybe daddy was right. They won't hurt me.
Won't they?"
Mari thinks that while she's sleeping. But it doesn't seem to bother her.
12:00 AM
Mari was sleeping peacefully. And Sunny thankfully hasn't woken her up by his wailing. But however something was off. There was noises in the kitchen. It seems to be bothering Mari. As a result she wakes up.
Who's in the kitchen.. Mommy and Daddy are asleep.. so who is it..
Mari grabs the flashlight from the nightstand. She doesn't want to go downstairs and find out. But she'll check the door way. The 6 year old girl opens the door slowly to prevent it from creaking. She turns on the flashlight and looks around the hallway.
No one seems to be here..
Mari closes the door and runs to check on the crib.
Sunny is sleeping peacefully. I hope those monsters don't get to him..
Mari sits on the floor and looks at the alarm clock.
12:05 AM
It's late.. Mommy and Daddy will freak if they see me awake at this time.. But I need to make sure those... things aren't in this house..
The noises in the kitchen stop. It's just the sound of crickets and Mari and Sunny's breathing.
The late night ambience is interrupted by a dog barking.
Must be the neighbors dog..
Mari runs back to the door and opens it. She flashes her flashlight only to be met with the same results. Nothing..
I should be sleeping but I don't want to risk it..
Mari closes the door. Only to start feeling dread when she hears robotic footsteps.
Oh no.. they're here.
Mari goes back to sitting on the floor. She looks at the alarm clock again.
12:09 AM
She decides to sit for awhile. Just listening to the last night ambience. A couple of seconds later a grandfather clock goes off.
Huh.. don't they usually go off when it turns 12?. Why is it ringing a couple of minutes later?..
Mari just sits listening to the grandfather clock chiming. She then stands back up after hearing robotic footsteps accompanied by growling.
Oh no.. please don't tell me they're getting close..
Mari looks at the clock again
12:14 AM
She runs back to door to check again. She opens it and flashes her light. She starts shaking at the sight of SOMETHING at the stairs.
It's a yellow chicken animatronic with a cupcake. But it's all broken down and it has sharp teeth.. Mari flashes her light at it.. Only for it to make eye contact with her. She is startled and closes the door.
That monster... It looked at me!..
Mari is shaking and breathing in fear. She runs back to the crib to see if Sunny is still asleep. He still is..
Mari then mutters something . "I won't let them g-get to you l-little brother.."
The stuttering obviously indicated that she was scared.. Mari then hears a screeching noise at her bed..
She flashes her light at her bed only to discover little brown nightmarish animatronics.. they looked her bear plushie with the top hat. But they were like that chicken animatronic but smaller and were bears.
Upon Mari shining her flashlight light at the little bears. They covered their eyes and vanished.
Mari then checks the door again. She flashes her light.
This time it's different.
The chicken animatronic is gone but.. there is a bunny animatronic. And it was uncomfortably close to the door. It had sharp teeth and sharp claws. As the light made contact with the animatronic.
"SOMETHING growls at you"
Mari closes the door and breathes shakily after that. She could feel her heart beating like she gotten a shot of adrenaline.. Her eyes start watering.
That monster is outside our room!! I don't want to die..
Mari then hears robotic footsteps going down the stairs. She breathes a sigh of relief and goes back to sitting on the floor. But she's still shaking.
Mari checks the clock again.
12:23 AM
She feels tried but refuses to sleep. Because she fears they may get her and Sunny.
Mari jumps after hearing laughing.
What was that?!
The laughing resumes.. It sounds like a familiar laugh.. but slowed.
Mari begins sobbing. As a result. She slowly steps towards the door.. She gets more and more scared as she gets closer. At one point. Her heart is beating real fast and she's shaking at fast pace..
She slowly opens the door. And raises her flashlight slowing. Before shining her light she could hear breathing.
She flashes her light. Only to be accompanied by a startling sight..
It was bear animatronic. Just like the others it was broken down and had sharp teeth. And it had a purple top hat.. But it's eyes were demonic.. it was close to the door.. directly at it. It was Fredbear... The one she feared the most.
"FREDBEAR stares at you"
"MARI is AFRAID"
She quickly shuts the door. Sobbing and breathing in fear..
"MARI tries to CALM DOWN"
The little girl tries to breathe steadily but can't.. She was hyperventilating.
Her flashlight goes out..
Mari starts fumbling and shaking more. She constantly tries to turn the flashlight back on by pressing the button and smacking it..
The door was creaking and there was robotic footsteps.
She rapidly smacks the flashlight and to turn it back on.. As she turns it back on..
It was... In the room..
"FREDBEAR grabs you"
Mari was struggling and hyperventilating.
It's got me! Oh no!!
She begins to hit it's arms to try to free herself. As a result she begins screaming and her hitting grew faster.
"HELP ME!!!"
"MOMMY!!!"
Her constant cries of help agitates the animatronic. As a result it begins pulling Mari to it's mouth.
Mari begins hitting faster but it seems to do nothing.
"HELP!!!!!"
"DADDY!!!!"
The 6 year old cries for help even more.. The sound of Sunny crying only agitates it even more.
It opens it's mouth. And Mari screamed even louder.
Mari was violently shaking in her bed and screaming. She is about to get bitten. Sunny was crying due to Mari's loud screaming. There was the sound of 2 people running outside of the room.
"MARI struggles to BREAK FREE"
Her head was in Fredbear's mouth. It was too late.
Mari wakes up hyperventilating. And Sunny's crying has gotten louder.
She starts crying as well. Her mom and dad rush in their room to calm them down.
Her mom grabs Sunny to try to calm him down. And Mari's Father hugs her..
"Breathe.. Steady does it now." The sound of her dad's soft voice made her breathe steadily.
She still was crying. Her dad begins rubbing her back.
"It's ok.. it's ok.. I'm here now.. take deep breaths."
With a couple of "shh" and rubbing of the back. Mari's loud crying devolves to hiccuping sobs.
"What happened Mari? Did you have a scary nightmare?" Mari nods and she tries to explain it
"There were these... a-animatronics outside of the r-room and one g-got in and b-bit my head.." It was a short summary.. Sunny had stopped crying and her mother suggests something that would make her happy.
"If you had a very scary nightmare. You can sleep with me and daddy." Mari nods.
Mari and her parents go into the bedroom. Mari lays in between their mom and dad. Her mother embraces her to comfort her. Feeling her mother's warm embrace. She falls asleep very quickly.
"Tanaka.. She might traumatized from that nightmare.."
"Akari.. it's obvious. From now on we don't take her to any pizzeria that has animatronics for now on. It'll worsen her fear."
Akari agrees with Tanaka. After their agreement they both fall asleep.
