Alejandro Vargas: (SFW)
A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)
He’s all about touches rather than holding.
Not all that into taking your hand while walking but will rest his hand on the small of your back when standing near eachother. He isn’t going to cup your face to kiss, but rather slide over your arms.
The only time he really holds you tight to show affection is when you sleep. There he doesn’t have to worry about having his hands free in case something goes wrong.
B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)
He simply needed someone detached to talk to. That was how your friendship got off the ground.
You were just a random patron in an overcrowded bar who had more than interest in him. You started talking, then asked how he was and meant it.
For the first time in his life he was honest how he was doing. Telling you about his current fears and not knowing what he was going to do. He even mentioned the hardness of death. And yet, you still didn’t leave.
That’s how he knew you’d be a good friend, and even more.
C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)
He cuddles like a dog. Not bothering to ask but instead just leaning against you until you have no choice but to open your arms for him.
He sighs into you and take deep breathes. Grateful for your touch and wanting more. The only thing stopping him from crawling into your lap is his fear of reaction.
D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)
He doesn’t see himself ever being able to settle down. To dream about that is to dream about the world without violence, without evil.
That’s not to say he doesn’t want it. He’s just worried about what would happen if he slowed down.
E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)
He’d do it person but in a private moment.
He’d do this so there would be no one to stop you from doing what you need to do. Yell at him, scream, throw thing. You could even hit him, and he wouldn’t fight back or try to stop you in anyway.
Honestly, he would feel he deserves it.
F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)
Dude is loyal. Never been one for one-night stands or non-committal relationships. Instead you become one of the most important people to him. But that’s only after you have the conversation making yourselves official.
G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)
He’s rough in everyway you can be. His hand holds are tighter than necessary, his hugs are squeezing, and his kisses always have just a bit of a bite to them.
Emotionally he keeps a hold on himself until alone. Only when you ask more than twice does he open up to you. Sometimes this can involve crying and other times he can be so angry they’ll be a new hole in the wall.
H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)
He holds you tightly. It’s honestly almost bone crushing.
He’s not much of a random hugger kind of guy. He usually gives these kind of hugs when he gets back home or is leaving. Something that promises he’ll be back even if that could be a lie.
I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)
He’ll say it first. One night, during a home cooked meal date, he’ll say it over the table.
He looked at you with eyes that only said fear. Waiting for your rejection that never comes. Only a reply of the same declaration of love.
J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)
He doesn’t get overly jealous. You both have your own lives when he’s on leave.
A conversation had to be had about your outside activities. As far as Rudy is involved he gets Alejandro during missions and while at work. You can have your outside partners too, but they will never come before Alejandro.
K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)
He’s a biter. Although not all of the kisses are passionate, they all have some bit of teeth involved.
L = Little ones (How are they around children?)
He’s that cool guy that a lot of the neighborhood kids know.
They’ll be at least two kids looking for him each week. Usually because he had shown them how to make a small rocket out of fireworks. Of course he told them to be careful, but kids will be kids.
M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)
You’re gonna be moving around before he does. No matter what time either of you went to bed he’s never been a morning person. Rather staying up the entire night than having to deal with getting up early.
He will get up when needed, however. But you’re gonna hear him complain about it.
N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)
He’s super grabbing at night. Holding you close the second you get into bed and refusing to let go until the alarm goes off in the morning.
O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)
After you’ve been together for awhile he finds it easier to open up.
Ask him about his day and he won’t skip on the details. Casually moving around your shred space while describing how screwed up his ankle is from a foot pursuit. As if it’s completely normal that he had tripped over a body in the middle of the street.
P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)
He gets angry a bit faster than most. Not so much at you, but mostly at those who are seemingly going out of their way to mess with his day.
This is mostly kept to privates or other high-ranking personnel who screwed up in some way or another.
Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)
He may not be there a lot, but he always has the answer when he does.
Favorite flowers? Candies? He’s got them ready for your birthday waiting in the dining room. Wrapped up in a nice bow.
R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)
When everything felt too much, and he just wanted to drive for a minute. You had insisted on coming along.
No words were spoken during the twenty or so minute trip. Alejandro driving out into the more rural areas, Here he can rolls the windows down without too much worry. With his status he can also drive quiet a bit faster than is legally allowed. This is only a sometimes thing, though.
You hadn’t said anything since the trip had started. Your hair moving in the wind was a bit of a distraction from his driving. Not enough to crash, but enough that Alejandro felt this almost need to look at you.
He takes your hand, still with no words. You kissed his knuckles and he smiled.
S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)
He’s a dangerous man who lives in a dangerous world. This makes it hard to find the line between being protective and being controlling.
He wants to know where you’re headed to and with who. If he’s not there then maybe you’d be willing to take Rudy with you for a long-distance trip? It wouldn’t be something he’d bother you about more than twice, but he just wants to offer.
Annoying? Yes. Necessary? Absolutely.
T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)
He has a go to move when it comes to dates; a homecooked meal and demanding you wear something nice for said meal. It’s a reason to dress up and a way to make you both feel special.
He doesn’t have much time to plan or buy anything. But if he could he absolutely would.
U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)
He’s messy. Being a colonel he doesn’t have the time to worry about the mess he leaves behind on missions in the office. Other people are paid for that.
More than once you had asked him to put his boots away. Although he always promised to do better he had yet to do so. This resulting in you physically throwing the boots at him when he forgot one night.
V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)
He’s not handsome like that on accident. Too much of his youth was spent trying to find the perfect level of facial hair. Even longer spent trying to find a hair cut that goes along with it.
According to Rudy it was all worth it. Better than the mullet Alejandro had for a hot minute; something that he vehemently denied.
Pictures had yet to be found.
W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)
Without you there is a ball of worry in his gut. Like watching a stranger set a glass far too close to the end of a table. It’s not like he can leave his position and fix it, he just has to deal.
He deals with it by focusing on the mission. There really is nothing he can do otherwise.
X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)
You’ll honestly be sharing him with Rudy. You may be his actual spouse, but Rudy has been his work husband for longer.
Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)
He’d have problems with a super clingy partner. This isn’t to say you can’t miss him or be excited when he picks you instead of going in for overtime.
Rather it’s about understanding his boundaries. How he can’t always answer the phone or return a text the same hour or even day. That you’ll unfortunately be in the dark about a lot of things, even when you specifically ask.
He can’t put you in danger by having you involved in his special forces world. It’s better that you be an outlier.
Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?)
He’s a grabber when he sleeps. It could be a pillow, blanket, you, or Rudy. If something nearby when he sleeps he’s gonna be reaching for it.
This makes him the big spoon most of the time, and he seems to prefer it that way. His stubble is ticklish on the back of your neck. His breathe warm and soft snores ever present as you fall asleep in his arms.
