There were four members of the Pegasus Middle School book club, a boy named Stewart, and three cousins: Alex, Lizzie, and Charlotte (but she went by Charlie). Everyday after school they went to Alex, Lizzie, and Charlie's house
where their grandmother had a big book collection from which they would read. One Friday, Charlie found a box set of three matching fairy tale collections. When she showed the group Stewart said, “Oh yeah! I grabbed the fourth one earlier.” With that they opened up the books, and read the words 'Once Upon a time'. All of a sudden there was a blinding light, and they all screamed as they flew into the books. When Alex awoke she was sitting next to Charlie, and Lizzie. Lizzie yelled, “Whoa! What are you wearing?!” Charlie and Alex both looked down; they had changed from their jeans and t-shirts to tunics, and each of them had a little piece of jewellery. Alex had a necklace, Charlie had a bracelet, and Lizzie had an anklet. When they looked further, they saw that they were all wearing ankle boots.
“Wait.” Lizzie looked around.
“Where's Stewart?!”
Charlie was starting to freak out but Alex said, “Don't worry. We need a plan–I say we find Stewart, and find a way to get home.”
“Okay,” Charlie replied. Calming down, suggested: “Why don't we follow this path till we find a town? Someone can probably help us there.”
