"Papa?" A small child asked as they looked up at their father who was tucking them into bed. "Yes Nagareboshi ?" Uki said as he pulled up the bed covers over the child. "How did you get different colored eyes?" They asked and Uki smiled softly. "Well... A star went into my eye, " Uki said, and their jaw dropped, and their eyes widened, "A star? Are you lying, Papa?" They spoke.
He chuckled, "Kinda hard to believe, huh?" He said and they nodded. "Very hard to believe." They mumbled. He sat down on the bed and ran his hand through their hair. "Well, it did happen, whether you believe it or not."
"Papa? Could you tell me a story? Or maybe sing?" They asked sweetly and he laughed softly. "Hmm... sure-" Uki began to say before Nagareboshi interupts. "Tell me about how the star fell into your eye." They said as they looked up at him. He grinned and nodded.
"Alright then."

Fulgur was going to tell Nagareboshi goodnight before seeing Uki sitting beside the child on the bed, "Tell me about how the star fell into your eye." Nagareboshi said and Uki grinned. "Alright then."
"There's a tale, a legend told when the night was full of light. Every thousand years the skies would shake, every glow would fall from sight. One who will be chosen must become divine. Channeling the power of the universe inside," Uki sang softly, Nagareboshi listened with amazent in their eyes as Uki sang/told the story.
"I've been blinded by the clear vision from the other side. A star has fallen in my eye, transforming to purple light. Supernatural energy inside, look into my eyеs right now. Stella ex inani. Revеlare te, ut nos iter in tempore. Stella ex inani Revelare te. Ut nos iter in tempore." Nagareboshi's eyes slowly drooped and Fulgur swore he could feel himself falling asleep to the sound of his husband's voice.
:Suddenly, off the ground. A force starts lifting me, coming from myself, fluidly. I float above the sea, one who will be chosen must become divine. channeling the power of the universe inside, I've been blinded by. The clear vision from the other side, a star has fallen in my eye, transforming to purple light." Uki looked out of the window at the starry night sky.
"Supernatural energy inside, look into my eyes right now. I can feel the wind on my face, psychic energy radiates something's coming through, so bright, it feels like deja vu." Uki looked over at Nagareboshi who was almost asleep. Uki just smiled and pressed a kiss to their forehead. "Alright, you better go to sleep before your Dad gets mad at me." Uki said, Nagareboshi nods.
Fulgur decides he'd better tell the kid good night before they fell asleep. "Night kid." He said as he kissed their cheek goodnight. Nagareboshi snuggled into their pillow sleepily. Uki turned off the octopus-like lamp and handed them their little lamb plushie. As they were about to leave, Nagareboshi said something. "Hm?" Uki hummed and Nagareboshi spoke up. "Why did you name me Nagareboshi?" They asked and Uki smiles.
"Because that star changed my life and so did you, so I see it as the things that changed my life for the better." He said and Nagareboshi just smiles before falling asleep. Uki and Fulgur walked into their bedroom and Uki went straight to the closet to grab his pajamas. "Man... I'm so tired, Fuu-Chan." Uki said with a yawn and Fulgur just smiles as he undoes the bed while Uki changes. "Same."
"Hey Fuu-Chan? How long were you at the door?" Uki asked as he tossed Fulgur's pajamas towards him. Fulgur caught them and began to change into them. "Uhh.. Probably when Nagareboshi was asking you to sing about how the star got into your eye." Fulgur says and Uki just smiles as he lays down on the bed, starring up at the skylight.
"The sky is always so pretty." Uki whispers and Fulgur nods. "It really is but you're prettier." Fulgur says and Uki just laughs. "You don't think I already know that?" He said with a bit of sass, causing Fulgur to chuckle. "No, I know you know but I just wanted you to know that I think you are prettier than the sky." He says and Uki just grins.
Fulgur lays down beside Uki, starring up through the skylight with him. "I love you..." Uki whispered and Fulgur turned his head before pressing a kiss to Uki's cheek. "I love you too." He whispers and Uki just smiles. He wiggles over more to Fulgur before setting his head on Fulgur's shoulder. Fulgur runs his hand through Uki's hair, making Uki more sleeply. A few minutes go by and they both fall asleep beside each other and underneath a star shower in the sky.
