A loud sound of banging was heard from the outside of your bedroom window, which caught you off guard. You bounced back and hit your head on the headboard. "Ow..." you winced in pain, holding back a few tears. You glanced outside the glass of your window, only to see a silhouette of a certain red head standing outside your house in the dark of the night. You gasped. The faint glow of the streetlights illuminated his face, his beaming smile and eyes as bright as the warm sun. His cheeks, red like cherries. His hands occupied with rocks, and maybe that's what hit your window.
You felt your face heat up and no matter how much you acted like it barely affected you, Reki made your heart feet like it was running a marathon. Everytime. You were seeing him today after two whole weeks. He had gone to visit his grandparents in the country side with his family and was going to return the day after, but here he was, and you were shocked to death about why the hell was he standing outside your house at 11.56 pm. You pushed open your window and the cold breeze rushed in, slapping your face. You quickly grabbed a paper and a marker and scribbled a "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" down on it and showed it to the boy. To which, he just replied with a cheeky grin. You sighed.
Ofcourse you'd tell him that you'd let him in only because you didn't want his ass to freeze out there in the middle of the night, but you also just wanted to let him in because you had missed him a lot. You pulled down the rope ladder and it opened, falling down your windowsill and hung just a bit above his torso. He smiled up at you, giving you an air kiss, to which you looked away and mumbled a little "idiot..." , and before you knew, the boy had climbed up and plunged inside your room, falling on top of you.
He quickly got off you and made himself comfortable in your warm bed. You closed the window and sat beside him, trying your best to look annoyed while in reality, all you wanted to do was plant soft kisses on his stupid face and never let him go. But we don't talk about that. "What are you doing here Reki?" You asked. "We came back early, just reached a few hours ago and I really wanted to see you..." he looked away, scratching his neck, the tip of his ears slightly pink. You covered your face in order to hide your own blush. This was your moment. He did get you weak in the knees but he had no idea about it. And you could possibly try and dominate him now that he was all flustered.
You faced him, grabbed his wrists and pushed him against your headboard, pinning his back to it. You forced yourself on his lap and cupped his face, staring down in his curious eyes. "What are you doing princess?" He asked. There it was. You felt your heart leak and pool up in the core of your stomach. There it was. The crazy feeling people called 'butterflies'. You broke eye contact and nuzzled your face in his neck. Your cheeks felt wet, eyes glossy and the collar of his shirt drenched in your warm tears. You had missed him so much. Hell you couldn't go a single day without seeing him.
"I missed you..." you mumbled against the soft skin of his neck. You felt him rap his arms around you and he layed down, you straddled in between of his legs. He run his gentle hands through your messy hair and placed little kisses on your forehead. "Oh you have no idea how much I've missed you..." he whispered softly in you hair. "I've got something for you" he continued. You pulled away and sat up on his abdomin. You stared at him with curios eyes. He hesitated at first, but then dug his hand in his pocket to reveal a pink satin cloth.
He pulled out a silver rose etched chain, a little amber crystal hung from it like a pendant. It had the letter 'R' carved on it. He held it up to you and his eyes searched for a reaction in yours. You gasped and bigger tears welled up in your eyes. His face twisted into an expression of worry but it soon lit up when you bent down and captured his lips in yours. You pulled away and smiled at him. "R as in Reki?" You asked. "N-no Y/n, R as in..." he paused. You tilted your head in confusion. "Reki...yea..." he smiled, looking away flustered. Your cheeks were burning, eyes wet, "It's beautiful, the best gift I've ever gotten...thank you, I'll treasure it." You smiled, not caring about how much of a lovestruck emotional mess you were.
You got up and layed down next to him. "Put it on for me?" You said glancing at the flustered boy in your bed. He gave you a little nod and hovered over you. His careful hands moved your hair out of the way of the nape of your neck and hooked the chain around it. You smiled at him. There you were, laying in front of him with the chain he gifted you around your neck. The chain that had the letter of his name carved on it. He loved you. All of him loved all of you.
He bent down and smashed his lips on yours, and you kissed back. You both made out all night, with him ranting to you about his trip in between and you telling him about your two weeks. There was nothing else you wanted. No matter how hard you tried to act like you were barely affected, Reki made you melt. Everytime.
