Yuta is in his 9th month of pregnancy and in anytime, he'll give birth to their daughter. It is kind of unexpected since it's been 11 years after Jaemin was born before he got a sibling. Taeyong, on the other hand is very excited as he keeps on buying baby clothes for his little princess. They're mostly ready for her coming but there's only one thing that they didn't have yet... a name.
So here they are sitting on the table with his closest friends, Jaehyun and Doyoung with their son, Jeno. They were eating dinner that Taeyong made and as usual, it's world class. Yuta couldn't be so proud of his Alpha husband.
"How about Yumi?" Doyoung suggested while sipping his wine. Jeno and Jaemin disagreed for the name with their cheeks full. Yuta wiped his son's lips as he also joined the children to disagree. "Taeyong won't like it. It doesn't have a 'T' on the name. This is his only princess, he wants it to be special."
"Taeyomi?" Jaehyun also suggested and felt a slap on his arm from his husband.
"Please don't make it complicated. We prefer to not name our children from our names. That sounds awful. Who would name their children, 'Yutae' though? It should be 'Taeyu'." The Alpha household father emerged from the kitchen with a tray of ice cream desserts filled with fruits on the cup.
"Yeah, you'll like it cause your name is there first." Yuta snorted and grabbed a cup of the ice cold dessert.
"I think I have an idea." The adults looked at the eleven year old future older brother. "What about naming her Wanda?" Jaemin suggested with an innocent smile.
"NO!"
"YES!"
Yuta and Doyoung looked at their husbands in disbelief. They want to name the poor child under another Marvel character again. Yuta had enough of Taeyong and Jaemin watching Doctor Strange 2: Multiverse of Madness keep their mouth agape whenever their favorite 'Mother Wanda' shows her powers against the poor Sorcerer. Not gonna lie, it is a great movie and he's starting to like Doctor Strange too but enough of Wanda. Taeyong and Jaehyun shrugged which made Jaemin laugh.
"Okay, how about this... we're going to play a game." Jeno, who's all been quiet, suggested. "Place your bet names and whatever name that was chosen by the bottle is the winner. You should name her with that winning name." It sounded so bad to be very honest but if this can help them name the baby, why not? It also makes it more fun for the night.
They gathered in the living room after the household couple teamed up to clean the dishes. Jaehyun and Doyoung started to think for a beautiful name while the two children prepared a sheet of paper and a bottle of water that is half full. When Yuta and Taeyong joined them, the children listed all the names they suggested.
"Jane." said by Doyoung, thinking that it rhymes with Jeno's name but his husband, Jaehyun, thought that he named it after Thor's lover. Though he knew who Jane Foster is, he wouldn't dare to name another child under a Marvel character. Just like Yuta, he had enough of his husband and son's obsession over Thor.
"Sylvie" said by Jaehyun, earning a high five from Taeyong. "That's a good one." The two adult Marvel fans do really connect as another character from a Loki variant came from his mouth.
"Shiho" said by Yuta. He didn't thought of where it came from but he then remembered that he does wants to name his child 'Shiho' before when he was still a teenager. Not until Taeyong married him and they decided to name their first born, Jaemin instead which he didn't regret but loved more.
"Scarlet" said by Taeyong and Jaemin wrote "Wanda" to join his father's shenanigans. Yuta sighed and just follow through as Jeno wrote other names that were given.
When they finished assembling the names into circle, Jeno placed the bottle in the middle and asked Yuta to spin it since he's the one carrying the baby. He spin the bottle a little bit aggressively that it spins so fast which made Yuta a bit nervous. "If this lands to the names 'Wanda' or 'Scarlet', I swear to god, no ice cream for you Jaemin for one year and no sex for you Taeyong for two years after giving birth."
"HEY! UNFAIR!" Exclaimed by his husband and child while the guest couple chuckled beside him.
Yuta watched the bottle and gulped when it's slowly spinning nearly to the two names that he doesn't like to name his poor unborn child.
"OH"
"OOOH"
"WAAA-"
The living room suddenly filled with screams when it landed finally on 'Shiho'.
"OH THANK GOD!" said by both Yuta and Doyoung, sighing in relief.
"Can we spin again?" Taeyong asked, still eager to name his child, Scarlet.
"NO! Honestly, Taeyong? Do you want to name your child from a witch?" Yuta raised his eyebrow, glaring at his husband who's intently showing his puppy eyes. Jaemin snickered behind his Alpha father and joined him in ganging up the Omega. Yuta is weak when his husband and son use their puppy eyes but not this time. Not when they want to name his precious baby from Scarlet Witch, his rival from his husband's heart and attention ever since. He then remembers the Scarlet Witch mug that Taeyong keeps on drinking at. Lucky witch got to kiss my husband every morning even with morning breath, he thought.
"But to be fair, Jane is a good name." Yuta acknowledged Doyoung's suggestion. Jaehyun's ears perks up from the compliments and started talking about how the name came from Thor bla bla bla. Doyoung sighed in defeat and just looked at his fellow Omega. "Yeah, thanks for the compliment. I do love that name for so long."
"Why won't you get pregnant and see if you can use that name? I'm sure Jaehyun would love that so much." Taeyong teased.
"Oh please... don't give him ideas." The room was filled with laughter again.
