It's 3 days before Hyungwon's birthday and the manager secretly messaged the other members reminding them to have their contents ready to greet Hyungwon on twitter as their tradition goes. Since the members have been busy with their comeback, most of them have forgotten about this. Luckily today they have a scheduled dance practice video rehearsal shoot, and the members took this opportunity to secretly film Hyungwon for their birthday greetings.
Kihyun on the other hand has been trying to get a funny content to share to monbebes ever since they had stepped into their practice room. He wanted to be witty (and to also tease Hyungwon at the same time), but Hyungwon had early on sensed that the members were secretly filming him. Since then he avoided and dodged them when he sees or feels a camera on him. Kihyun had given up for now and chose to focus on perfecting their dance practice video shoot, he thinks he'll get one eventually anyway.
When they were done shooting and everyone's on the floor panting, Changkyun had gotten his while pretending to talk to Hyungwon. That cheeky maknae, Kihyun thinks. He totally gave up and just thinks he'll dig up something from his camera roll.
Eventually they packed up and left the practice room but Hyungwon had another schedule so they left him there. As the members were about to enter their van, Kihyun noticed he left his beanie in the practice room and hurriedly said he'll go get it. Before he entered the room he suddenly thought of getting this opportunity to finally get his content.
He peeks through the transparent glass part of the door checking if Hyungwon is still there and luckily he saw Hyungwon taking selfies, he smiled at himself immediately getting an idea on how he'll bust him to monbebes and show them the behind the scenes on how Hyungwon gets his perfect 'boyfriend selfies.'
Unfortunately, he couldn't take it from the angle of the closed door so he had to slightly open the door and peek his hand out to get it. He carefully executed the plan while holding in his laughter, thinking how stupid Hyungwon looks doing different poses and angles. He finally gets his hand and phone out the door and starts clicking on his shutter, but stupid him forgets to mute his phone.
As soon as Hyungwon heard the shutter he looked for the culprit and Kihyun just gave up hiding and entered the room, fully laughing out loud now while continuing to click his shutter whilst Hyungwon spots him and starts running after him. He reached Kihyun in record time trying to snatch his phone but Kihyun is fast with his reflex and avoided him. Both of them giggled like children, running and jumping trying to outsmart each other but eventually they both got tired.
Kihyun is crouching holding onto his knees and a few steps away facing him is Hyungwon mirroring him, both of them panting and smiling at the same time. Suddenly, Hyungwon's eyes glinted with mischief steps forward grabbed Kihyun's waist and pulled him towards him angling his face onto Kihyun's neck. Kihyun yelped pushing Hyungwon's chest trying to get away clearly shocked at the sudden change of behavior from the other. Hyungwon didn't budge.
"Stay still, hug me for just a minute." He says to Kihyun almost pleading.
"We'll get caught." Whispered Kihyun but stopped pushing him.
"Please, baby." Hyungwon pleads detaching his buried face from Kihyun's neck and looking down at him with his big puppy eyes and pouty lips.
Kihyun knowing he can't say no to that face sighed defeatedly. He raised his right hand and reached for Hyungwon's neck and his other hand around his back pulling Hyungwon in the same position he was in. He rubbed Hyungwon's back and said, "Just a minute then."
Hyungwon smiled snuggled closer to Kihyun's neck and inhaled deeply while Kihyun's right hand moves to Hyungwon's hair lightly scratching at his scalp just the way he knows he likes it. He immediately feels the other relaxing with a soft sigh which made him chuckle.
"Why are you suddenly clingy?" asked Kihyun with a slight amusement in his tone.
"I just suddenly missed this, we're so caught up with our comeback. We barely get to have our own time, I miss this....I miss you."
He replied, his breath tickling Kihyun making him giggle. Hyungwon then quickly added a chaste peck on Kihyun's neck. The sudden move reminded Kihyun where they're at and immediately detached himself from Hyungwon's embrace.
Hyungwon doesn't complain now knowing that he's stretching their luck at being caught so he just pouted and crossed his arms. Not looking at Kihyun. Kihyun on the other hand feels guilty but he just doesn't want to take a risk at being caught.
"Hyungwonnie, I'm sorry but you know the rules."
Hyungwon finally looks at him defeatedly and nods.
"I've got to go now the boys are probably wondering what's taking me so long. Have you seen my beanie by the way?"
Hyungwon upon the mention of beanie has a sudden glimmer in his eyes and reached at the inside of his jacket's pocket.
While dangling Kihyun's beanie in the air above his head, he raises an eyebrow and said, "2nd round?"
For a second Kihyun looks at him with betrayal but then quickly changed his expression into a glare and scoffs at him.
"Nah, I'm just kidding my scary baby shark. C'mere"
Hyungwon purses his lips trying to stop himself from smiling and cooing at the same time because he finds Kihyun adorable with his fist curled up on his side, barely showing from his oversized hoodie while stomping to go in front of him.
He finally lets go a chuckle when Kihyun stands in front of him looking up with a glare still in his face.
"Let's turn that scary shark face into a cute hamster shall we?"
Kihyun then punched him on his arm which Hyungwon faked hurt rubbing at it. Kihyun tries to snatch the beanie but Hyungwon is quick and held it above his head. Kihyun doesn't try to fight now and just sulked.
"Okay, okay. Look at me so I can put this on properly, please." Hyungwon bit his laughter so that he won't aggravate the scary shark again.
Kihyun defeatedly sighed and looks up at him still glaring. At this, Hyungwon started his act of putting on the beanie on Kihyun's head but he doesn't stop pulling down until it reaches Kihyun's eyes causing Kihyun to be blind. In which Hyungwon takes as an opportunity to bend his head down and kissed Kihyun square on his lips with a loud smooch. He then runs for his life leaving Kihyun in the dance practice room blind and blushing.
Kihyun thinks he can't wait to upload his shots of Hyungwon on the 15th.
