The world was cold before Mina saw her for the first time. Dark and cold. Mina wandered through the days endlessly, tangled in her own thoughts and the jungle that was life. She made her way through the world alone, thinking of the day she would find someone, and have a friend at the very least.

Chaeyoung laid in the huge white orb, counting the tiles once more. Life was boring, repetitive even, but she was optimistic. Even though everyday was the same, she continued, positively and thoughtfully.
Chaeyoung was walking around the rounded room one morning, when the room shook, and a wall faded, leaving a hole to the outside world. The one Chaeyoung had been searching for. She saw the figure of a girl in a ball gown, sparkling, and she caught her breath as the girl spun to face her.

A ray of light was suddenly cast over Mina, making her gown shimmer once more, and her hair shine. She turned to see a girl, stood in a white room. She felt compelled to walk towards this mystery girl, and she did. As she stopped, the girl began to smile. How, Mina did not know. This girl had been living in a blank room for so long, yet she still smiled. Before Mina could answer or ask these questions, she felt her face lift, as she began to smile too.
“Hello.” The girl finally spoke.
“Hi.” Mina said breathlessly.
They both just continued to smile at each other. They didn’t need to say anything to understand each other. All they knew was that they were lonely before, but now they had each other, and that was enough cause for a smile.
