Summary
Shiori Mitsurugi is increasingly anxious about having to return to Hingashi after living in exile. Hoping to find the company of a stiff drink in familiar climes, she returns to Ishgard only to stumble upon the dashing Lord Commander instead. The two are eager to make good on their long-postponed dinner, and after a wonderful evening together Shiori finds herself pleased with the surprise turn of events. The pleasant surprise quickly sours as our lovable Lord Commander puts his foot in his mouth, and a rift opens up between them as vast as the Ruby Sea. Nursing her wounded pride and his guilty conscious, the two lick their wounds, each wondering if it was they who had been in the wrong.
