It was a normal night until Potter decided to ruin it by saying "I almost let Malfoy rail me into next week, if it wasn't for Remus waking up and kicking him out I would have." And well Lily couldn't just ignore that. She sat up from where she was leaning back against Dorcas and pierced him with a glare
"Excuse me? Did you just say what I thought I heard?"
"That he almost let Malfoy rail him into next week?" Alice asked from where she curled up in Frank's arms, "Yeah, pretty sure we all heard that." James was growing redder by the second and honestly, Lily was exasperated
"Didn't he try to kill you, multiple times?"
"Well..."
"Let me guess," She muttered as she stood up, she was wearing Regulus' clothes, his slacks and blazer surprisingly fit her very well and she walked towards him, channeling all of her ability to act like Regulus into the movement, "He said, "Potter I know we've had our, differences and that I have attempted to kill you, I know you need not believe me yet but," She put three fingers under his chin, forcing his head up and his eyes to meet hers as she barely bent, softly caressing the area she finished, "I have found myself falling in love with you, if you give me your everything, I will give you the world."
"Fuck." She heard Marlene and Dorcas whisper
"And let me guess," She smirked at him pulling away as he gulped, "You almost said yes." He was trembling but she wasn't quite sure it was out of fear.
"Damn Evans," Sirius said with a laugh, "Damn!" He laughed harder, "You know how to turn a man to jelly, hey Prongs!" James jolted and blinked as if coming out of a haze and Lily couldn't help but smirk at how much of an effect she had on him
"Oh, James," She said lightly and he perked up and turned towards her happily, "If you ever let that man fuck you I will cut you out of my life completely. I honestly don't know how Narcissa stands him, but she does enough to marry him." She shook her head and made her way back to her seat and settled back down. Smirking at James' shocked look
"I do believe it was a good thing I stopped Malfoy." Remus said and laughed as James nodded very quickly. Sirius leant in and kissed Remus softly,
"Saved Prongs a beating it looks like." He said as he laughed and Remus chuckled too before pulling Sirius in his lap. Both eyed James,
"Lily, are you actually okay with James being a bottom?"
"Of course I am Remus, in case you didn't notice I am a dom." She said laughing and soon they were all laughing, she'd have to thank Regulus later, had he not leant her a pair of clothes after their disastrous fall into the mud she would not have been able to render James so speechless. She settled back in the cushions and accidentally drifted off.
