“Always the popular guy again,” Kuzuha commented upon the piles and piles of gift chocolate falling out of the locker. “Well, it doesn’t really matter. Enjoying homemade chocolate and thanking girls, that’s it. Kuzuha, you want any?”Kanae queries. “Yeah, these chocolates are good.” Kanae hands him one and Kuzuha popping one in his mouth before rushing to class. “Later!” After he leaves, the girls glare in his direction, and Kanae pretends to be oblivious. When Kuzuha goes to his classes, people start whispering about him. That day was incessantly worse than others, what with all the people grinding their teeth in anger of how close he was to the brunette. Checking for any chocolate under his desk, he sighed, finding nothing was expected. One of the girls to approach him to speak to him after school. A confession? Kanae enters the class not long after and takes his seat next to Kuzuha, after being swarmed by fan girls. “What’s got you all flustered?” Kanae questions, rarely seeing him that red without any teasing from him. Kuzuha huffs, turning away from him.
“I have to meet someone after school. It’s a girl.” Kuzuha muttered. “Ohhh, it’s a confession! I didn’t know you were that popular~”teased Kanae. “I’ll wait for you in the classroom.””okay,” That whole day, Kanae was swarmed with girls offering him chocolate, and soon it was after school.
“Huh? So you’re asking me to help you confess to Kanae?” “Isn’t that the purpose I called you out? You thought I was asking you out? As if, you gloomy vampire.” Well, that hurt. A lot more since it was a girl. “Furthermore, you’ve been taking Kanae’s chocolate, you’re not supposed to take others chocolate.”Kuzuha started biting onto his bottom lip. This was not why he came here. He came here to turn down her request as Kanae had already liked someone. “He already likes someone.” Wait….what if it was this girl? He never considered the possibility. If he remembered it was someone with silver white hair and was cute. “If that’s all, I’m going to go.” He couldn’t do it. Kuzuha felt an uncomfortable feeling in his chest, it just didn’t feel right. He knew had a little crush on Kanae, well it was for nothing. He was just too perfect, too popular. He liked girls, didn’t he? “Wait just a minute. Could you gather information for me about Kanae?” “Sorry,”
“Kuzuha?” The classroom door slammed open. “Hey, you okay?”Kuzuha huddled in a corner of the classroom while hugging his knees, rocking back and forth. He shook his head more vigorously. Kanae was getting worried, feeling his heart break a little bit. Kanae sat down next to him and stroked his hair. “ahh…..don’t cry….there….there….” Kanae comforted him when Kuzuha started to cry. The tears flowed down his cheeks, making it Kuzuha’s eyes red and puffy. What happened to make him cry?
When Kuzuha started to calm down, Kanae teased him, “So, what’s got the little prince crying like this?” “I’m sorry, Kanakana. The girl wanted to confess to you but…I…couldn’t do it. Because you said you liked someone else and I didn’t know whether it was her…sorry” Kuzuha started to tear up again. “Shh…it’s okay…it’s okay… want a chocolate?” “She said not to take your chocolate though…” “This one’s for you.” Kuzuha blushed. It was a pair heart lollipop chocolate. Was this still considered friend chocolate? Had his dream come true? When he looked up, Kuzuha was met with nothing but love in his eyes.
“That person is you. It’s okay if you don’t want it, just think of it as friend-“ Kuzuha kissed him. Kanae couldn’t believe it. How did Kuzuha, who was just crying a minute ago, to kiss him on his own accord? A light blush coloured his face. Their first kiss was sweet, short and subtle. “I guess that’s a yes then, isn’t it?” Kanae teased. “If it isn’t obvious enough.” Kuzuha looked away with a heated blush on his face. ‘’Would you like to share?” Kuzuha muttered, holding out a lollipop chocolate. “Thanks, my little prince~” “oh shut up”
