Jungkook always had a few friends in his life. Maintaining friendship was always hard for him. Any friends he made would get another friend after a while and he would be left alone. It's something he has with struggled all his life. He thought that he wasn't worth a good friendship and started to live in his shell. Eventually he made less and less friends and in the end he didn't even bother.
When Jungkook joined bighit entertainment and he never imagined the members would become his family. Family so close that he never want to even imagine a day without them. The members are like his brothers. Their bond so strong that he can share anything with them with complete confidence that nobody would he judge him and would just listen to him. The came out of the shell he used to live in and become confident, he became confident in his abilities. Every member took care of him and he was happy that he had such good friends in his life now.
It was after their next comeback that he noticed a slight change. The change being how the members started to be with eachother more and he was being left alone.
As the comeback was done and everybody had free time. Jungkook wanted to go and take a break with one of the members so he went to Joon.
"Hey hyung! Wanna go out to eat something? It would be great" "Hi jungkook-ah. Going out sounds nice we should go out on Saturday." said Joon.
Saturday came and Jungkoook was ready to go out with joon. As he went out in the living room he saw hoseok and asked for Joon "Hoseokie hyung where is Joon hyung?" Hobi looked up from his phone and said "Joon? Oh yeah he went out with jin hyung". Jungkook feeled a pang of pain in his heart. "Oh". Hobi raised his eyebrows and asked "Why did you guys have some plans" Jungkook looked at him and replied "huh..ah no no i-i just wanted his advice on a song". Hobi nodded,"ok ok" and smiled. Jungkook masked his disappointment and smiled back and went back to his room.
Few days passed and Namjoon didn't say anything about their plans so Jungkook thought that he actually forgot about it. Jungkook was getting bored so he went to Tae hyung's in thought that they can play some games. He found Jimin hyung already their playing games with Taehyung "Hello hyungs can I join too?" They both looked at him and Taehyung said "Noo jungkookie I'm sorry but today is my and jiminee day. We can play some other day hmm let us enjoy our day today". Jungkook felt pressure behind his eyes and a small pout formed on his face "Ah it's okay hyung, I'll get going". "k byeee!!". As he closed the door, a few tears dropped down his face. He quickly cleaned them and went to his studio to get some work done.
These incidents hurt jungkook. For any other person they would be just two bad lucks but for somebody who is used to losing his friends to their other friends, these incidents hurts alot, they made the old memories come out again. The insecurities, the feeling of being left out these feelings aren't good and they hurt alot. Jungkook was suffering from it.
Next was Yoongi hyung. Jungkook was getting degected by the previous members behaviour. So he went to yoongi hyung studio just to sit there and chit chat a little
"Hey hyung. Do you mind if I just sit here"
Yoongi looked up from his computer.
"No jungkook I'm working I'm not looking for any distractions" "But hyung I just wanna sit here"
"But still no".
Tears made their way back to jungkook's eyes he nodded and moved towards the door "k bye..." and then he closed the door and went somewhere else to cry.
Jungkook was drowning in the river of self pity the only thing going into his mind was how members are leaving him after and not wanting to do anything with him. Taehyung did promise to hangout with him sometime else but that time never came. He has seen him hanging out with others but not him never him. He was laying in his bed and crying his heart out. He also noticed that usually with they all hanging out together the members tend to make groups of two people and he was left being the odd one out..
Jungkook one and the last hope was hobi hyung. He was nervous when he entered the dance studio, he sat down in the corner and watched him practice. As hobi finished his practice he looked over at jungkook "hello Kookie~how are you?" Jungkook looked at him "Just watching you practice" jungkook played with his fingers because he was nervous asking the next question, he felt his heart rate pick up.
"uh hyung umm can we got out for a dinner or something"

"Yeah kookie why not!!"
Jungkook eyes went wide all his insecurities poured over him.

His eyes started to water and tears dropped down his cheeks.
Hoseok eyes went wide "Hey hey kookie what happened hey baby what" he rushed to clean his tears.
"Hyung" choked and continue to sob as he fell down on his knees. "Kookie kookie wh-what" hobi quickly hugged him hard as he continued to sob.
Jungkook's tears slowly turned into small sobs and he looked up at hobi "h-hyung.. I"
"oh jungkookie tell hyung what happened hmm I'm here I'm listening" hobi smiled at him.
Jungkook hesitated a little and said "hyung every... everybody has been ignoring me" he looked down "they don't want to spend time with me. They are fed up with me" a single tear drop from his eyes.
Hobi feels pain shooting from his heart. He takes kookie face in his hands and says "I'm sure that's not the case baby we all love you"
"Do they?"
"Yes baby offcourse they do."
"b-but then why.."
"I'm sure it's a misunderstanding baby come on we'll go home and talk to them hm" he smiled.
They went home, on the way hobi texted in the GC that for everyone to be home. When they reached home everybody was present in the living room.
"hobi hyung why did you ask for everybody to be home?" Taehyung asked
But when they saw jungkook's swallen face and blood shot eyes they gasped
"Kookie what happened?"
"Jungkook!! are you alright"
"Gguk babyy"
"Guys!!" hobi said in a louder voice "Calm down give kookie some space. He has something to share with us let him be comfortable"
Jimin quickly pulled him to the couch and sat him down. Everybody waited for him to speak.
Jungkook at everybody's face one by one then he looked at his hands and said "You guys.... you guys have been ignoring me
....."
"What we are?? " Yoongi asked.
"Yes yes you are hyung" jungkook said with a sob. Joonie pulled him in a hug. "Hyungs you are leaving me out. Not spending time me . I'm being left alone hyung"
They all were shocked, they started to recall their interaction with jungkook in the past three weeks. They all suddenly realised how they have dismissed jungkook and forgot about their plans.
"Oh baby I swear we didn't mean too" seokjin said emotionally.
"And you guys tend to talk to eachother when we are alone and leave" sobs "and leave me out" he is full on crying again.
They were disgusted and ashamed by their behaviour. "kookie we are sorry " "yes kookie hyungs are sorry please forgive us"
Jungkook sobbed again and said "is it that I'm boring..or something why does everybody finds a better person then we and leave me ... "
Everybody cried listening that "Kookie baby you are so important to us we can't be us without you you know that right. I'm sorry are recent actions made you believe that. Baby we are really sorry." said Namjoon.
"Yes baby you are very important to us please I didn't make you feel like I don't want you. it's wrong I'm sorry." taehyung said.
Jungkook looked up and said"Do you all mean it?"
"YES WE DO"
"ok hug me please.."
They all hugged him hard. Lots of sorries were exchanged and they all spoiled him alot and showed him all their love.
Jungkook once again realised that yes these guys are his family brothers and friendship like this never separates they stay forever and ever and he's thankful to the universe that he got friends like this. He also learned that he should communicate with them because self pitying never brings good in the life. For now he's gonna tease his hyungs more and get them to bring him food hehe.
