Toshiro frowned.
And then—
“Go away Vorarlberna.”
“It’s Hans Vorarlberna, actually, but I’ve told you just to call me Yukio.”
“Sure.” Toshiro tried going back to his work, and yet he couldn’t.
Click.
Click, click.
And then came yet another click.
“Vorarlberna…”
“You really need to lighten up,” Yukio said, still playing with his video game. “That’s why I’m here. If you want me to go away, play a video game with me.”
“I was stuck in that video game of yours, remember?”
“That was then, and this is now. Just play one game with me. Be a kid for once.”
“I am not a kid!”
“Yes, you are! You’re a child prodigy like I am, but there’s nothing wrong with being a kid,” Yukio said. “Don’t know why you don’t use it to your advantage more often.”
“Because,” Toshiro frowned. “Why are you encouraging me to be rude to my elders?”
“Okay. Let’s hold off on that until I can explain it better?” Yukio said. “Just pick up the game system I left on your desk and start playing.”
“Fine. I won’t like it.”
Five hours—Rangiku walked in, seeing otherwise.
