Hero and Mari were cooking macaroni and cheese for their kids. It was dinner time, and they all gathered together at the table.
"So, Sunny, how was school today? You've been studying hard recently." Said Mari while spoon feeding Aaron, a twin of Bryan.
"School was alright. I got a 97% on my math test" Replied Sunny. Sunny was enjoying his macaroni and cheese and didn't focus too much on the conversation.
"Well... I got a 100% on MY math test!" Lily then stuck her tongue out at Sunny. She got along with Sunny pretty well, but enjoys occasionally making fun of her brother.
Sunny smiled at her and then continued eating
Bryan broke the small silence. "Dad, why do you make yummy food and you're a docter? My school keep asking for my food!" Bryan asked Hero. Bryan and Aaron were both 5, Lily is 13 and Sunny is 16. Hero and Mari didn't want to tell the truth about their Uncle Sunny until they were 15, so Sunny looked at them with a frown.
"Heh, well you'll understand when you're older. But it's fine to give some of your food at lunch. Sharing is caring."
The Rodriguez family ate their food until it was time to go to bed. They said their goodnights and went to sleep.
Then suddenly, Sunny had a dream. He had his driver's license, his sleeping bag, his wallet with pictures of his family and friends, and his watch with the date and time with it. After a while, he was very very confused when he woke up.
"Huh? What the... where am i?" He looked at his watch. Worried, he went to Gino's and pretended to wait for someone. He was looking at his watch, confused on what to do, suddenly he felt something on his shoulder.
"Hey!" It was none other than his uncle Kel. Even before he became a basketball teacher, he hadn't changed much. "I'm Kel Rodriguez. Wanna hang out with my friends? I'm here to pick up pizza, but we can share."
Sunny was scared. He watched enough movies to know he had to not fuck this up. He wanted to stay away from Hero and Mari as much as possible. Not only that but had to make sure he doesn't kill his cousins aswell. "Oh I'm uh... uh.. I'm Marty. Marty... Marty Wells."
"Oh, well I'll introduce you to my friends. Follow me!" Sunny had a photos of his family and knew he had to make sure he doesn't kill anyone by messing with the past.
At the park, it was there Sunny met his mom, dad, aunts and uncles.
"Hey guys, I made a new friend! He's called Marty Wells." Kel introduced to his friends
"Hi Marty!" Said Mari
"Hey!" Said Hero
"Hello there!" Said Aubrey
"Oh, HI!" Said Basil
".." "Sunny" waved hello.
Sunny recognized Basil. He remember his mom saying he was who Sunny was closest to. He knew that if he had anyone to tell his plan to save Sunny and get back to the future, Basil was the guy.
"Oh. Um. Uh, hi Mo-Mar- Uh, what's your guy's names?" Sunny nervously chuckled
Kel pointed and said the name of his friends. "That's Mari, Hero. Sunny, Aubrey and Basil!"
Sunny stared at Uncle Sunny. (So that's who I was named after) thought Sunny. He then looked at Basil. "Oh, sure Basil! I'll follow you!" He then grabbed Basil's arm and took him to the secret lake. "Uh hey I didn't-" Basil was cut off and went along
Mari was suspicious and told Kel to secretly follow them.
"But it's a secret! Secrets are important!"
"Kel, Basil seemed worried, maybe you should follow them."
Hero joined the conversation. "I think I have to agree,"
"Make sure to spill the beans!" Aubrey told Kel
Kel succumbed to everyone
"So, what was it you wanted to tell me?" Asked Basil
"I think I have to tell you this. I... I am a time traveler. I'm from the future." Sunny showed Basil his driver's license and a family photo. "See? Now don't frea-"
"Y-YOU'RE- HERO AND-" Sunny quickly held Basil's mouth making him shut up. "Listen, i can't stay too long. For a quick run down, Uncle Sunny is dead. Mom-um- Mari pushed him down the stairs and framed his death as a suicide with a jump rope. This is becahse Sunny got stressed over violen practice. Uncle Basil, I know this is alot to take in, but-"
Basil finally calmed down. "OK, OK, so, Mari- Sunny's dead? Is that why-" "Yeah."
Basil couldn't believe it. Sunny in the future was dead? Mari killed him? Mari knew how to tie a noose?
"What- what can I do? Is there anything I can do to stop it?" Asked Basil.
"Make sure you get mom's fami- Grandma's- your current- MOM'S current house to have stair protection. Talk Uncle Sunny to calm down." Sunny had a hard time saying things.
"A-and then what?"
"After this happened, you come to me, right here, and I'll let you know if you saved him. He'll be in this photo, and my name won't be Sunny." Sunny replied.
"B-but why can't you introduce yourself as Hero and Mari's son from the future?" Basil asked
"I could make one wrong move and me and my siblings are dead. Same with my cousins. Aubrey and Kel can't know they're married, with how much they don't get along as of now." Sunny then pulled a photo of him and his cousins
Meanwhile, Kel heard everything while on top of a tree. He couldn't believe it. He ran down to the picnic spot where everyone else was...
