Kyungsoo, a cowherd with nothing much to offer other than his hard work and devoted love, captured the heart of Jongin, the seventh son of the Heavenly Mother. However when she first found out, the Heavenly Mother opposed to their marriage and tried to keep the lovers apart by creating the Silver River, also known as the Milky Way. But not all was lost, since their deep connection and love moved even the hard heart of the queen of heaven, who allowed them to meet on their anniversary, The Festival of the Seventh, when a magical bridge is formed so the humble cowherd can meet his beloved weaver husband to embrace each other once again.
