“Bunny, put me down!” Kotetsu whined, pushing at the arms surrounding him.
Bunny’s arms only tightened protectively around him in response, a worried frown marring his pretty face, “You can barely stand, Kotetsu.”
“I’m just a little dizzy is all.” He slurred, relaxing in Bunny’s arms despite himself.
“Sure…” Bunny muttered, disbelief clear in his voice. He brushed a hand through his partner’s hair, careful to avoid Kotetsu’s injury. “You took a hard hit to the head. If only we suited up…”
“There wasn’t time.”
Bunny sighed, “I know.” He laid his partner down gently as they reached the ambulance.
