Work Text:
Minho and Jisung began dating almost two years ago, just a few months after debuting.
They met inside the studio while Minho was recording verses for his group's upcoming mini-album; Jisung perhaps ended up being a sound engineer to an actual song producer for the company. Maybe it was all thanks to Minho.
"Your voice is really nice," Jisung had said when Minho was about to leave. It was nearing midnight, and the sleepy smile on Minho's face showed otherwise.
"Thank you," he bowed. "I'll be sure to sing more for you." Minho then winked and walked out of the studio. Jisung looked absolutely embarrassed when another producer had come in to check on the boy, making sure he was conscious.
Whenever Minho brings up their encounter, Jisung always brushes it off or hides his face within the hem of his sweater. Minho secretly thought he looked pretty in all the sweatshirts he wore to Minho's recording sessions, always topped off with headphones that have a similar color scheme to his outfit.
Minho did become jealous that someone could dress more stylishly than him, yet he never took it to heart. Foul play, as they'd say, but in terms of Minho completely being in awe of the younger.
They'd started hanging out after that; going on their first date just a few weeks after. Jisung accepted Minho's proposal to be his boyfriend, and it's been smooth since then. Jisung now composed a handful of their newest songs, and Minho physically felt the improvement.
Minho was twenty-two and a rookie when Jisung finally said, "I love you," to him. Jisung was barely twenty-one when Minho said "I love you, too," back to him. From then, they've grown as their love has deepened. With no end in sight, Minho began to expand their relationship further. He tested some of their boundaries, and sometimes, even crumbled them.
Just like Jisung's fear of (semi)-public affection: gone, all thanks to Minho. His fear of introducing Minho to his mother is also gone.
They have changed over the years. Whatever looms in the future ahead of him, they'll figure it out.

In the studio, Minho thinks of Jisung to be too sexy.
"How is someone like you a low-key producer?" He enunciates one night. Jisung glares at him, misinterpreting his words. "I meant, shouldn't you be famous, like me?"
Jisung understands, correctly, and shrugs in response. "Tell that to your agency," and he laughs. Minho laughs along with Jisung. It was like a disease, but one that didn't necessarily kill Minho, it just made him sicker with Jisung. Lovesick.
Jisung hasn't formerly yet Minho's bandmates yet, they don't even know that Minho is dating. He shunned his group members from digging into his social life, and since he was the second eldest in the group, he had to deal with the younger ones trying to get into his business. Minho always kept a poker face and shoved them away, his façade never once crumbling.
"They're quite stubborn," he notes verbally on the thought of his bandmates, and then spins around on the office chair. "Oh! The demo for our upcoming song was good! Can you replay it for me?" Jisung blushed and refused.
He was right though; the demo was on another level. Hellbent on proving to Jisung that it was better than the finalized version, he necessarily begged for Jisung to replay it. He gave it when Minho started giving him small kisses on his cheek. They turned into full-on mouth-to-mouth kisses.
When they break apart, Jisung laughs against Minho's skin. He gives in. "Okay,"
And when the music blasts through the headphones, Minho showers with Jisung of all the affection he could give. He wanted to give.

Minho is embarking on his first world tour with his bandmates.
"You didn't have the nerve to tell me?" Jisung angrily says when he walks into the studio. Minho shakes his head.
"I was afraid you'd react like this," he sighs. His nostrils flare up. Jisung's expression changes and softens, but the fear returns.
"You're leaving for your tour," Jisung eyes him warily. Minho knows him too well to understand what he's feeling.
"I know," he says.
"You won't be back until September," Jisung points at his calendar. It was only the middle of January, and Minho knew Jisung couldn't wait that long.
Jisung was always there when he least expected it; in times when he didn't know he needed him the most but was forever grateful when he found him there. Then, Minho knew why. Jisung was always there for him, no matter the circumstances.
Minho thinks about it. He's certain after Jisung seems like he's nervous. "Then you can come with me," he says. "We're kicking off our tour in Seoul in two weeks, and I want my boyfriend with me every step of the way. Until the end."
Jisung stares at him, dumbfounded. He blinks a few times. "Really?" he says like it's shocking news. Minho nods, assuring the younger that he's being entirely serious. "Like, for real?"
"For real, Sung-yah," Minho's gaze softens on the young boy. "I would never lie to you."
Jisung gifts him a surprise song in return. Minho tells him he will sing it, especially on their first tour, just for Jisung.
(And his fans, too. They're third in Minho's priorities.)

"This song was made by our producer for you guys," Minho says after he finished the song. "I hope you enjoyed it!"
The audience cheers and Minho's eyes fall onto Jisung backstage. His petite figure standing next to his manager; both of them with eyes of happiness and hope. Minho feels hope, too. It spirals within him.
Hope is a dangerous thing. Hope can also be beneficial. Whatever this hope that Minho feels, he wants to feel all of it.
After the concert, Minho rushes backstage and is engulfed in the embrace of his boyfriend. He's learned to become more comfortable with their relationship; not giving any sense into what other people think. It was only what they thought that mattered.
"You did so good," Jisung whispers against his ear. The way his arms wrapped around his waist aroused Minho. It was only the start of the tour, the first night in Seoul, but they still had four continents left to tour. Together, along with Minho's bandmates.
"I did?" Minho said.
And maybe Jisung could always praise Minho for whatever he did, whatever he will do.
