"Hello, how was your Master lately?" A chubby green cat with three tails flick his ears in greeting to the female cat in a loaf position before him.
Comot huffed." He's my child, Cattus." she finally said.
Cattus just waved his tails in his version of whatever to the answers given.
"Yeah, how is he? I heard from the strays that your mas--sorry---child was involved in a big fight with some bad humans, " he clarified his question.
Silent.
"... He's fine." he could hear the hesitation in her voice.
He raised his eyebrow. "But...?" he urged her.
Comot sighed.
"I just wish I could help him more that time. Being a cat was a really big disadvantage in battlefield with being small and all," she said as she flattened her ears.
"Do you want to borrow my power?" A foreign voice interrupted them.
She lifted her head. " Who---" She saw that the yellow bell on her friend collar was not really a bell as it had two black dots as eyes and a tiny mouth.
"Hello!" The not-bell greeted.
Comot whipped her head to Cattus.
"Ah yeah... I forgot to introduce you to Bellbot. " her friend sheepishly apologised.
Comot deadpanned at him.
"Are you sure?" Currently, Comot was wearing Bellbot as her collar. It was surprisingly comfortable for being a fake collar.
Cattus waved his paw in reassurance to the question.
"Yeah, it's just for a while, and my master and his friends can handle everything just fine with their own powers even without me helping" because, indeed, his master is a powerful one.
"And bellbot is fine with that too"
"Aye" Bellbot answered from his place.
While she has access to more strength, she really hoped that her child wouldn't involve himself in a highly dangerous missions but knowing his luck, though....
Comot sighed wearily.
There's always a chance in a millionth possibilities to happen.
Her child was involved with the wrong sorts.
Oh God, why was the adults so useless?
Don't they notice anything out of places when their mission always failed if it was about the shiny things? If they paid attention, they could easily pinpoint who was culprit under their failed missions.
Her child doesn't even know how to maintain a good poker face, for goodness sake!
(She was even involved with this, but it could be attributed to her wanting to protect him.)
And in the end, who noticed it?
A child.
Of course, it would be another child.
Comot face paw to herself.
And then, the big battle happened.
Her child was attacked, and he was hurt!
Comot let the energy flow as her body grew in size, bigger than the humans around her.
"What the fuck" Rudy stared at Comot blankly.
"Ali why was your cat big!?" Alicia was uncharacteristically gaping her mouth open, shock.
"I don't know! I didn't know she could do that, too!" a baffled but grateful Ali replied to her.
"Ooah, big kitty!" Moon said gleefully.
She lifted her paw, ignoring the panic and shock the other human was experiencing from her growing size and striking the nearest bad human.
He went flying to the other side.
'That's quite far,' she mused in wonder.
"Thanks, Comot!" Iman thanked her with a smile.
She flicked her tail in acknowledgement.
It was that particular evening, that Comot and Cattus meet again.
"Thank you bellbot" she thanked him sincerely.
Bellbot turned his head up to her with a smile. "My pleasure!" before unravelling his hands from her neck and went back to Cattus.
Cattus stand still and let his friend wrapped his hands around his neck like a collar.
"So" Comot started as she sat before them.
They looked at her.
"How's your Master doing?"
Her question was answered with a groaned from Cattus.
"My master fought a crazy thousand year old alien, almost all his power get taken away from him and unsurprisingly almost die, again" Cattus finished his words with a long suffering sigh.
Comot nodded her head emphatically, because, she after all, can relate to that.
They spend the rest of the evening ranting on their frustration with their master recklessness and being a danger magnet.
