Summary
Emerus Rivera is a 14 year old boy who comes from a dysfunctional, unhappy family. He barely sees his father and his mother left some years before - but Emerus feels luckier than most people in his position, because he had an advantage: Emerus lived next door to the Winchesters, Dean, Castiel, and their excitable son, Dylan, who dragged Emerus' relentlessly into chaos.
This summer, however, Emerus returned to Newark to find that his and Dylan's troublesome behavior in Spring Break may have caused more problems for the Winchester family than anticipated. After accidentally timetraveling and attracting unwanted attention from characters in the Winchesters' past, Dean and Castiel have decided to set some hard rules in place to stop the boys from causing more trouble that summer. Rule number one: No wandering.
Can Emerus and Dylan survive an entire summer on a fine line, without a single bit of trouble? Surely, if they can't even leave the house, everything should be fine? It's not like trouble follows them everywhere they go...
