Today is one of those days where Childe would be blabbering about marine life and his favourite species like his number one favourite whales.
Those times are when diluc's head goes elsewhere staring at those beautiful ethereal eyes blue in color more ocean like deep and dark spirals around his black round pupil shine no where to be found , expect today here there is a shine in his eyes little but with big value
Those are the times diluc got the time to appreciate every little detail in childe's eyes that he adores ( not that he would say that in front of childe and no one knows)

Diluc had been staring at Childe for a concerning amount of time, Childe on the other hand had stopped talking and started staring back it's been exactly ......... 10 minutes since there unannounced staring contest had began Childe's face crimson almost , almost the same color as Diluc's hair , They had been silent for 10 God forsaken minutes silence becoming unbearable.
Childe finally broke the silence
" hey firefly " childe thought that maybe opening a new conversion might save him from the silence.
"Yes?" Diluc seemed to stop staring into his eyes realizing that Childe had been staring back face hot and flushed almost the same color as his hair
" so , as I was talking .... " childe when back to taking about marine life like nothing had happened ( well nothing serious happened ) but diluc can't help but still be nervous he really needs to get his mind of off what just happened

The park had never been busier than today childe can't help but question why? But alas, somethings are better unanswered.
"Are you even paying attention to what I'm saying ?" Diluc had been talking about Liuye's history for some time now maybe it's because they have a homework dedicated to it ? Oh , oh right they had an assigned homework from professor zhongli that day.
childe asked diluc if he's free after history class early today saying he was hopping (planning) on going to the park today,together they could finish the homework there. it was properly one of his best decisions ever if it weren't for the embarrassment coming his way.
" yes I am listing to you " said childe in a matter of factly way indicating he was indeed listing to Diluc's blabbering about Liuye's history ( he was in fact not listing but anything to save him from the embarrassment he would put himself through)
"Sure, anyway let's continue" Diluc turned back to the book reading, and skimming through hundreds of pages about Liuye and started to read again.
Childe couldnt help but stare at diluc's hands while he's taking , he keeps moving them around small gestures for diluc to do and childe to understand, and the way his mouth moves ( he isn't sure if it's the blush on his face and the feeling of hotness or does diluc actually have lipstick on and he never noticed that lip piercing the Dark red lipstick alongside The piercing making his lips so soft and kissable ) and his hair , his God Danm hair the way the sunsets light shines on his hair mocking the colors with the earnings he's wearing not helping at all.
Slowly the people started to fade alongside the noise he can only see , feel and hear diluc.
" alright, let's start writing shall we?" Diluc asked closing the book with a thud , making childe jump
" ok, ... let's start" Childe said easily bringing back that handsome grin of his bank on his lips blush still there but eased down a little , a couple of minutes later they where done.
Childe had seemed to forget something but it didn't come to mind. Oh , wait he had a game in three hours and practice in an a hour and a half he jumped up quickly apologizing and taking the homework going to send it in and head to practice.

Diluc for once had never been a person to attend to games but today was different you ask why , today the harbingers are going against the jade chamber.
Don't get him wrong he really didn't fancy ether the harbingers or the jade chamber , but given that childe is there he might as well become a harbinger fan (childe's fan).
Yes , he came here to see Childe play , but do you blame him the way Childe smirks at his opponents and the way his muscle flex when he runs or --

The bells ring indicating the start of the second half.

Childe's exhausted , either it's because of scaramouche's yelling or signora's laughing or the tsartisa's demandes the second-half is on a start childe should get his hopes up there a win since it's 3-2 against the jade chamber , it's really worth seeing nigguang's angered face.

The second half has started
Childe beamed at the field cheering away with the audience , when something rather someone caught his eye . Red hair .... Diluc
Ok , Diluc is here Childe's face broke down to a blushing mess thoughts reading in his head why is he here ? Why is staring like that ?
" HEY YOU DUMBASS COME HERE AND START PLAYING " yelled scara , signora laughing as always.
He quickly ran to the middle of the field the whistle blowed and the match started.

After the match , Childe quickly ran through the crowd looking for his firefly.
Suddenly , with a thud he fell to the floor he opened his eyes to scream at that person, but right when opened his eyes he saw him . Diluc seated on the floor grimacing in pain , Childe jumped up and held his hand out to Diluc
" sorry about that " Childe quickly apologized and helped Diluc get up
" it's fine " Childe face us flushed deep red almost as Diluc's hair color , same goes for Diluc they both look away
" g-good , game " Diluc stuttered upon his words congratulationing Childe on his victory over the jade chamber
" than-?!?!" Before Childe can continue his sentence he felt soft lips on his , soft and gentle , he hummed and melted into it but before he could enjoy his victory gift
" if you wanted it you could've just asked for it " Diluc chuckled deep and low , like honey sweet and thick .
Childe answered as a whine of displeasure , and closed the gap between them, soon feeling the others tongue on his lips humming in appreciation , they pulled back.
" congratulations"
" thank you" they both skilled at each other laughter bubbling up in there chests , alongside butterflies and flowers , laughing the whole night out.
