Peace Valley Buttercups

Ceci Masters stood beside Claire Storms, the head of her little sister Felicity's Buttercup troop. Claire had been the Peace Valley district Buttercups troop leader since Ceci was one. She and her best friend Denise rotated as assistant leaders. Unfortunately, Denise couldn't do it today because she had a dentist's appointment. So, Ceci volunteered to be the junior leader today.

The enthusiastic troop leader looked proudly at her little scouts. "I'm so proud of all of you for obtaining your sunflower pins! Never has an entire troop achieved that at the same time. As you know, today is a special day! I'll let my assistant leader tell you. Ceci?" Mrs. Storms gazed fondly at her.

"As you know, it's time for the annual cookie drive!" which caused everyone to cheer loudly. Ceci held her hand up for silence. "I know this is important to you. Because the money earned from selling the cookies helps pay for the Buttercup Jamboree! Which I know you're all enthusiastic about participating in! Since it puts all your skills to the test! Since its a friendly competition with other troops. Please remember it's about having fun and not winning," gently reminded the girls, who nodded.

The Buttercups Jamboree was held every spring in one of the state parks. It comprised fun activities: a scavenger hunt, an overnight hike, arts and crafts, and much more. It'd been one of the best things Ceci had participated in when she'd been a child. They reminded the girls how to ask people to buy the cookies politely. Plus, figuring out innovative ways to sell them. It was alright to ask their family members to help them sell the cookies.

Ceci had already conceived a brilliant idea to help her sister sell cookies. Once they got home, Ceci asked if she could take one of the cookie order sheets to help her sister. Felicity had no issues with her sister helping her out. She figured she was going to ask her classmates. She had no idea Ceci intended to sell them in the Ghost Zone!

Ghosts did eat even if their diet was vastly different then humans. They could consume human food if they added some ectoplasmic energy to it. So Ceci spent the entire weekend going to various Ghost Lairs, offering them to buy cookies. She did request Clockwork to help her with this, which he gleefully did. Half the Ghost Zone ended up placing orders. The Council of Ancients promised to deliver them and help convert ghostly currency into human currency.

So with Ceci's help, Felicity got the biggest payout for her cookie sales. Which only made her troop sunnier when it came time for the jamboree! Ceci and Denise acted as assistant leaders for the jamboree, which ended up being the best!

Notes:

Ceci's initiative to sell cookies in the Ghost Zone not only showcased her creativity but also her dedication to helping her sister succeed. It's heartwarming to see how she goes above and beyond to support Felicity and her troop, ensuring they have the resources they need to participate in the Buttercups Jamboree.

Her collaboration with Clockwork demonstrates her resourcefulness and willingness to seek help when needed, even from unexpected sources. By leveraging her connections in the Ghost Zone, she not only maximizes Felicity's sales but also strengthens ties between the human and ghostly worlds.

The success of Felicity's cookie sales is a testament to Ceci's ingenuity and the positive impact she has on those around her. Her involvement in the jamboree as an assistant leader further solidifies her commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive community for young girls.

Overall, Ceci's efforts highlight the importance of teamwork, creativity, and perseverance in achieving goals and making a difference in the lives of others. Her dedication to her family and community serves as an inspiring example for everyone around her.
